When will the 2018 TV models become available and will the 2017 models become discounted further at that point? I'm in the market for a 65" unit and might consider a 2017 closeout if deeply discounted. Thank you very much!

A few of the 2018 models have started to become available within the past week or two (such as the Sony X900F and Samsung NU8000), however they usually stay at relatively high prices for a few months so this time of year you're better off buying last year's model.

Typically TVs don't become much cheaper than the Black Friday price (see more here) and most 2017 models will become difficult to find in a few months. If a 2017 model continues to remain in stock for a long time then you may be able to pick it up with a discount, but it could also sell out forever.
