Vizio 43" E43-F1 vs Vizio 43" D43-F1

Both of these TVs are almost identical in most ways, aside from some minor features, like the D-series not having BFI (which isn’t a big deal to me). However, the one thing that seems to be notably better on the D-series is that the brightness is higher. In the notable mentions section of the “Best 40-42-43 inch” TV section, it says that you think the E-Series E43-F1 is better than the D-series D43-F1. I was just wondering why that is and if the brightness difference between these two is anything to worry about. I plan on mostly gaming on it, along with some intermittent TV/Netflix viewing.

You’re right that there isn’t a huge difference between the two if you don’t care about BFI, but globally, the E Series is slightly better. The E Series has BFI, and a local dimming feature(although not a very good one).
