LG OLED65E7P - PERMANENT BURN-IN PROBLEM

I OWNED THIS TV FOR ONE YEAR + ONE MONTH WITH ABOUT 5,000 HOURS OF USE ON IT. WITHIN THE LATER OF THAT YEAR, I STARTED TO NOTICE BURN-IN AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN. IT LOOK LIKE THE RETETION IMAGE WAS FROM THE NEWS CHANNEL. THE NEWS CHANNEL HAS A BRIGHT WHITE BAR AT THE BOTTOM THROGHOUT T HE SHOW. I CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE WORD “ALERT”. OF COURSRR THE LEVEL OF SEEING THE BURNIN DEPENDS ON CERTAIN COLORS, WHERE IT IS MORE PREVAILENT. ESPECIALLY THE COLOR RED. I HAD PURCHASED AN EXTENDED IN STORE WARRANTY AND IT WAS DIAGNOSED BY TWO SERVICE TECHS TO BE PERMANET BURN-IN AND UNREPAIRABLE. I GOT MY WARRATY HONORED AND WITH THAT MONEY I PURCHASED A SAMSUNG QN65Q9FN TV. I WOULD LIKE TO AD THAT WHEN I FIRST PURCHSED THE OLED TV, I WAS TOLD THAT BURN-IN WAS NOW PERFECTED BY LG AND THAT YOU COULD DO A PIXEL REFRESHER TO SOLVE ALL BURN-IN PROBLEMS. WELL, I WISH THIS WAS TRUE, BECAUSE THE MORE I USED THE PIXEL REFRESHER, THE BURN-IN ONLY GOT WORSE. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER OLED TV @ $3,500, TO HAVE IT ONLY LAST FOR A YEAR + ONE MONTH TOTAL. BEST PICTURE EVER, BUT TO MANY BURN-IN PROBLEMS ~ STAY AWAY FROM OLED TV’S ~ OR MAKE SURE YOU GET AN EXTENDED WARRANTY IF YOU WANT TO CHANCE BUYING ONE !!!

    Pixel refresher. :)

I read where you can massage the area with your finger, pressing slightly.. power off, power on.. then let go your finger. Turn on different solid colors and let it sit there on it for some time.

I guess the burn in is a dark area so any dark'ish color would cause that burn in dark area to get worse? It make sense. Most ‘burn in’ is not covered by a warranty.

If it was mine, I would just try different pixel refresher colors. For sh*ts and giggles, wonder if a hot towel (or cold) on the area would do anything positive or negative.. since that TV is a test subject now (until fixed).
