Lag and response time are two different things. Lag has to do with how long it takes for the TV's circuitry to process the image, whereas response time is how long it takes for the pixels to actually change.
The response time of the NU7100 is high, among the worst we have tested. This will cause motion blur behind fast moving objects, not lag. Lag is caused by input lag due to the TV's internal processing. The NU7100 has excellent low input lag, as long as you are in Game mode. If you are noticing lag make sure that you are in game mode by going into Settings -> General -> External Device Manager, and enabling the option called Game Mode.
I notice the NU7300 has a mutch better response time than the NU7100. I see the NU7100 is testet on firmware 1051 and the NU7300 is on firmware 1103. Is it posible to retest the response time of the NU7100 using a newer firmware?
Hello everyone. (sorry if my english is not great)
I recently buyed this model UE49NU7172. I made a input lag test with https://www.flatpanelshd.com/focus.php?subaction=showfull&id=1229335064 (its a comparison using just a clock) using my mobile and i see a difference between the pc and the tv of 100-140 ms. Im using game mode, HDMI, the tv has 29 hz rr and i cant change it.
Is there anything i can do in the tv or pc to reduce that time?
