It would almost require the addition of a new category of product: vent hoods. But without testing its venting ability, it doesn’t provide the whole picture.

I totally agree. I came here looking for which microwave is good at being a vent hood, not at being a microwave. I sort of feel a microwave is a microwave, but would love to have a better exhaust capability.
