U8H No longer recognizing HD and Dolby Vision using Android OS

The Android OS no longer recognizes the streaming content types, 4K and Dolby Vision from known services such as Paramount + and Max (Dolby Vision is indicated in the Upper Right Hand Corner of the content). When streaming these shows and going into Settings, Picture, Picture Mode, the indicated picture is what you would see in SDR. I have plugged a ROKU 4K Stick into HDMI 2 and going to the same services, same shows, the Dolby and 4K are now indicated. I have strong WiFi, 233Mbps and have also tried the ethernet connection with the same results. I would prefer to use the Hisense remote as it is more convenient.

Also of note, My sound was not working right using eArc with my Yamaha HT. The setting for audio output was set to Auto. By changing the output to Dolby Digital, the sound issue has been resolved.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  1. Update: We’ve updated the results to more accurately reflect the blender’s performance. The score for Fibrous Ingredients (Small Batches) and for Fibrous Ingredients (Full Capacity) processing changed from 9.0 to 7.0 because of the blending time.
