Hi! we were able to test input lag with this resolution and color depth combination and found our results were almost the same as with those in the review (using the native resolution). They only differed by a few milliseconds: 240Hz = 3.14ms, 120Hz = 5.27ms, 60Hz = 9.58ms. This was tested with the Low Input Lag Mode enabled. The results without this setting were much slower. For the sake of consistency between products, we will not be updating the results in the review.
Hi Nicholas, really appreciate you doing this test, thank you very much. This confirms what I thought and also since DSC is off, it gives better feeling.
It makes this monitor more solid choice for productivity with 4K and light gaming with 1440p 240Hz without compromising anything.
Again, appreciate what you and your team is doing here! Cheers!
Hello everyone, I have experimented and realized that monitor has very good scaling capabilities when using 1440p input signal with 8-bit color. I noticed with this combination, 1440p 8-bit, it doesn’t use DSC, and it feels very responsive, more than native, but this may be subjective. Is there any way that input lag can be measured / tested?
