You guys need to change your reviews and replace this TV on every end-of-year list you have. I actually bought this tv because it’s so highly rated here, but I guess there were some changes and now the tv ships with Dolby Vision turned on for all HDR video (Netflix, Hulu, etc.)
The HDR response with Dolby Vision is HORRIBLE. Like its completely unwatchable. Deep blacks show as blown out and even green, and the screen gets uncomfortably dim even on the highest brightness. Looking at online complaints, all of this is a common issue. Dolby Vision is a horrible HDR experience and because you can’t turn it off and HDR inputs are so common nowadays, this tv is complete trash now. I’m open to any alternatives because I have to return this TV ASAP.
Edit: it cannot be the HDMI cord or anything else but the TV having a problem, because the HDR apps used were internal on the Google OS. Just in case anyone thinks that could be the issue.

I have the 75" and 65" U7N (technically the Canadian U78N). Both are generally excellent but what I am noticing, most predominantly on the 65", is a very intermittent black screen flicker. For a fraction of a second at irregular times. Like a dropped frame but not a stutter effect, rather the TV shows a black screen for a tiny fraction of a second. Not sure what that symptom is technically called even (“frame drop black screen” maybe)?
Happens on all sources, including external HDMI sources and the native apps. Mostly noticed on the 65" but it may go days between noticing it. Even see it when, for example, browsing through Netflix titles. I’m not gaming and not using the gaming HDMI ports - this is all on cable TV/streaming content.
Anyone else experiencing this and know what setting might cause it (I’ve tried toggling many but can’t eliminate this completely)?
