Unfortunately, this isn’t something that we tested so we really can’t say what kind of impact it would have. We also don’t usually recommend most people playing around in the service menu because you do run the risk of causing damage to your TV or bricking it. So, I’d probably err on the side of caution and say try not to do much in there. And, if you choose to try it out, just be careful and do so at your own risk!

Got it, thanks alot for your prompt reply.
I will not mess around much there in the service menu. However the extreme dimming is annoying and i was thinking of just increasing the dimming from 30 to 65 to avoid headaches. I hope this will not damage the tv in the long run :)
