Hello! Wondering if the VRR and the 1080p 120fps properties were true for the newer 43” version. Thanks!

I assume you’re talking about the TCL Q651 QLED? If so, no, the 43" and 50" versions of that TV don’t offer the game accelerator feature, so they’re limited to 60Hz even at 1080p.

Hey, I saw your ratings for this tv vs the 2024 model Q651. Would you be able to confirm that the 2023 model is actually better overall? I see the 2024 model posted on reddit and users seem to say that it is brighter compared to the 2023 model contrary to what you guys have posted. Any clarifications? Also how is the OS in comparison to the 2024 model, is it much laggier? Thank you for any advice

We can’t really say much other than what’s already posted in our reviews. The 2024 model we tested wasn’t as bright as the 2023 version, but we also didn’t test the same size. The difference in size combined with normal variations in brightness between individual units could explain the difference in brightness, but we don’t know for sure. As for the OS, we didn’t notice much of a difference between them, at least in terms of performance. It didn’t feel any more or less laggy.
