This mouse basically does not have 2000hz polling rate at all.

From pzogel’s review at https://www.techpowerup.com/review/corsair-m75-air/5.html: “the mouse simply sends two identical updates in every packet, both in wired and 2.4 GHz mode. Doing so serves no purpose other than faking readings. In actuality, no additional data is submitted, thus rendering the 2000 Hz polling functionally equivalent to 1000 Hz polling. In 2.4 GHz wireless operation (second plot), the M75 Air fails to do even that, and instead does non-duplicated 1000 Hz for the majority of time.”

Hey willybob7, Thanks for reaching out. We have a note explaining how Corsair operates differently than other mice with high polling rates in our sensor latency section of our review. However we will be looking into this deeper. Thank you again for reaching out and notifying us about this.

Hey kukaso! Thank you for reaching out, we determine if a mouse is Very Quiet, Quiet or Loud by viewing the audio level (dBFS) captured by our Zoom H6 Recorder. For this specific mouse it was within dBFS range that we consider “Quiet”. Quiet is the range we consider to be an average noise level. However I can understand how the naming may be confusing. Once again thank you for reaching out and for the kind words regarding the table tool, I hope I was able to make this a little more clear.

  7. Update: We’ve added details of two additional color options to the Differences Between Variants section of this review.
