I bought the 65” A1e august of 2018 and this month Jan 2021 it’s officially dead. I had a problem with my previous Sony 850 that demonstrated similar symptoms but now I’m thinking it’s Sony. The support team from Sony took literally 7 months to ship a repair part for the 850… pre COVID. I’m not exaggerating. So I just replaced it. It seems like with android updates comes unstable Sony for some reason. The A1e tv just stopped turning on with the black screen of death and red blinking light. I tried troubleshooting for days and a technician even replaced a board (ot sure which one) with no success. Anyways now I’m trying to get home warranty to cover this $4000 tv and was wondering if I should go cx or flagship q series. I’m here to vent and get input .
