The Midea also has smart features like Wi-Fi connectivity, giving you more control without needing to interact with the unit directly, something the GE lacks entirely. Both models include a built-in drain pump, so they're equally flexible for drainage. Unfortunately, the Midea is discontinued, making it very difficult to find one new.
