The Our Place Splendor and the Beast Mighty 850 Plus are both personal blenders with a single blending speed, but the Beast is sturdier and better for smoothies and nut butter. The Beast comes with three jars, plus drinking and straw lids, and it blends fibrous greens like kale a bit smoother with less effort. It also makes creamy nut butter, though it takes several cycles and a lot of scraping, whereas the Splendor takes more than 10 minutes and comes out dry and grainy. However, the Beast struggles to crush ice, and its motor starts to labor after a couple of batches, while the Splendor turns ice into snow-like pieces if you pulse it. The Splendor also has a dedicated pulse button, while you have to tap the Beast's single button for a quick pulse.
