The Beast GO Cordless is a portable battery-powered blender. It comes with a 22.6-ounce jar with a top-fill lid that's compatible with both a carrying lid and a straw lid, making it convenient to use on the go. The blender is also compatible with blending vessels from the Beast Mini Blender Plus and Beast Mighty 850 Plus, giving you flexibility in terms of jar size. It features a simple one-button control system and is very quiet when compared with other personal blenders. While it’s great for making single-serving smoothies, it struggles with more demanding tasks.

It's available in a variety of colors. See the Differences Between Sizes and Variants section for more details.

Our Verdict

6.0
Multi-Purpose

The Beast GO Cordless is passable for multi-purpose use, though it has clear limitations. It excels at making single-serving smoothies with fibrous ingredients and is extremely quiet. However, it can't handle hot blending, struggles with nut butter, and makes crushing ice a workout. The small jar capacity also limits its versatility; you're restricted to making single servings for most recipes. If you primarily want a portable blender for smoothies and lighter blending tasks, it performs well, but don't expect it to replace a full-sized blender for more demanding jobs.

Pros
  • Creates smooth blends of fibrous ingredients.

  • Very quiet for a blender.

  • Very good build quality.

Cons
  • Difficult to clean.

  • Can't hot blend.

  • Struggles to make nut butter.

  • Limited 17.6-ounce blending capacity.

8.4
Smoothies (Single Serving)

The Beast GO Cordless is a great choice for making single-serving smoothies. It excels at blending fibrous ingredients like kale into very smooth drinks, producing outstanding results for a portable blender. It's also very quiet compared to other portable blenders, which is great if you’re using it at the gym or office. However, if you frequently add ice to your smoothies, you'll need to put in more effort. It crushes ice but requires constant shaking with considerable force. Cleanup can also be challenging due to the small blending vessel.

Pros
  • Creates smooth blends of fibrous ingredients.

  • Very quiet for a blender.

  • Very good build quality.

Cons
  • Difficult to clean.

6.6
Smoothies (Multiple Servings)

The Beast GO Cordless is adequate for making multiple servings of smoothies. It produces pretty smooth results with fibrous ingredients, but the texture has small visible bits and can be slightly airy. The process involves multiple rounds of stopping, scraping, and shaking, making it more labor-intensive. If you regularly need to make smoothies for more than one person, you might find the extra work tiresome.

Pros
  • Creates smooth blends of fibrous ingredients.

  • Very quiet for a blender.

  • Very good build quality.

Cons
  • Difficult to clean.

5.9
Ice Crushing

The Beast GO Cordless isn't a great choice if you want crushed ice. While it can break down ice cubes into a slush-like consistency without major chunks, the process is physically demanding. You need to shake the blender constantly throughout the blending cycle with quite a bit of force, which becomes tiring quickly, especially since the unit is heavy for a portable blender. Not to mention, it can only process a few cubes at a time. If you're planning to make frozen drinks or add crushed ice to cocktails regularly, you’d be better off with a full-sized blender.

Pros
  • Very quiet for a blender.

  • Very good build quality.

Cons
  • Limited 17.6-ounce blending capacity.

3.1
Soups

The Beast GO Cordless isn't suitable for making soups. It lacks any hot blending capability, and you can't blend hot ingredients straight from the pot; you'd need to let your cooked vegetables cool to room temperature first, then reheat the soup afterward. The jar capacity is also very small, making it impractical for preparing even a single bowl of soup. While it can handle blending fibrous vegetables into a smooth texture, these significant limitations make it a poor choice if you want to make soups regularly.

Pros
  • Creates smooth blends of fibrous ingredients.

  • Very quiet for a blender.

  • Very good build quality.

Cons
  • Difficult to clean.

  • Can't hot blend.

  • Limited 17.6-ounce blending capacity.

4.3
Professional Use

The Beast GO Cordless isn't suitable for professional use, though this is to be expected for a portable personal blender; it's not designed for that kind of work. It overheats when making nut butter and can't handle the task, which is typical for blenders in this category. The small jar capacity also restricts how much you can make at once. While the build quality feels sturdy, ice crushing requires constant forceful shaking that would become tiresome with frequent use. If you need a blender for daily demanding tasks or professional settings, look for a high-end, full-sized model.

    Differences Between Sizes And Variants

The Beast GO Cordless comes in seven colors: ‘Mist,’ ‘Sand,’ ‘Carbon Black,’ ‘Cloud White,’ ‘Navy,’ 'Lilac,' and ‘Terra.’ We bought and tested the ‘Cloud White’ version. Here's a photo of our unit's label.

If you encounter another variant, let us know in the comments, and we'll update our review.

    Popular Blender Comparisons

The Beast GO Cordless is an excellent blender for making single-serve smoothies, producing a smooth blend with minimal intervention. It's also extremely quiet, matched only by the nutribullet GO, so you're less likely to disturb others when blending. However, it's significantly heavier than most portable blenders, which makes it somewhat cumbersome to carry around. This can also make it tiring to shake during blending, something you'll need to do frequently, especially when crushing ice. While it does a decent job crushing ice compared to other portable blenders (which typically don't excel at this task), the constant forceful shaking required is more demanding than with lighter models. Like most portable blenders, it's not ideal for making thick spreads. If easy cleanup is important to you, other models, like the Ninja Blast Max BC251, are much easier to clean.

For additional recommendations, check out the best portable blenders, the best bullet blenders, and the best personal blenders.

    Ninja Blast

When it comes to making single-serve smoothies, the Beast GO Cordless is significantly better than the Ninja Blast. It creates much smoother blends of fibrous ingredients and is capable of making snow-like crushed ice. It also operates more quietly. The Ninja Blast, however, has the advantage when it comes to portability because it's

    significantly lighter.

    nutribullet Flip

The Beast GO Cordless and nutribullet Flip are both great for making single-serve smoothies on the go. The GO Cordless has a slightly larger capacity, but it's also significantly heavier, making the Flip a better option if you're looking for something lightweight. On the other hand, the GO Cordless is much quieter, so it creates less of a disturbance at the gym or office.

    nutribullet Portable

The Beast GO Cordless is a much better option than the nutribullet Portable when it comes to making single-serve smoothies. It creates much smoother blends of fibrous ingredients in both small and large batches. It's also much quieter. The Portable, however, is significantly lighter in weight despite the two blenders having similar overall dimensions.

    nutribullet Flex

The Beast GO Cordless is significantly better than the nutribullet Flex for making single-serve smoothies. It creates much smoother blends and is better for crushing ice. However, the Flex has the advantage when it comes to ease of cleaning. It's also significantly more lightweight, making it the better option if portability is your primary concern.

    8.0
    Build Quality

This blender feels very well-built. The motor base is mostly made of plastic and feels sturdy. The blades and blade stem are metal, and the button is responsive, providing good tactile feedback.

Assembly is easy; the jar screws into and out of the base, and the lid screws on and off the jar without issue. The design is in line with other Beast products. It features three rear LED lights for battery status and one front LED for status info. The blender comes with a top-fill lid that's compatible with both a carrying lid and a straw lid. It's also compatible with blending vessels from the Beast Mini Blender Plus and the Beast Mighty 850 Plus.

The lid is made of plastic covered with rubber, which makes it easier to grip, but it unfortunately attracts dust and requires frequent cleaning.

The Beast GO Cordless does an excellent job of blending small batches of fibrous ingredients, surpassing the performance of other portable blenders like the nutribullet Flip and Ninja Blast. After four 30-second cycles, it produces a very smooth result, but there isn't much change between the third and fourth cycles, suggesting it nearly reaches its best performance by that point. The process takes between one and two minutes, and the blender needs to be shaken once during blending.

This blender produces remarkably smooth results when processing fibrous ingredients at full capacity, though there are some small bits of kale visible, and the mixture is slightly airy. However, it does require a lot of work. The entire process takes between one to two minutes and involves multiple rounds of stopping, scraping, and shaking. You'll get a smooth blend after three 30-second cycles. Additional blending doesn't make a significant difference.

    8.0

The Beast Go Cordless blender does a decent job of crushing ice. It produces a slushy consistency rather than a snow-like texture, but there are no major chunks left over. It also requires a lot of effort to achieve these results.

You can crush 12 cubes by splitting them into four rounds. Using the standard blending program requires constant shaking throughout the cycle. The pulse function offers somewhat better performance, but it requires continuous shaking to crush everything properly. The shaking requires a lot of force, making it a physically demanding process. Using the flat lid is best for shaking.

Still, when compared with other portable blenders, the Ninja Blast Max BC251 offers better performance.

Like most portable blenders, the Beast GO Cordless struggles with nut butter. While it can grind a single cup of nuts quickly, it struggles significantly once the second cup is added. The final result is very chunky with some fully unprocessed almonds left over.

The process requires a lot of shaking, which gets tiring because the unit is heavy for a portable blender. You have to intervene multiple times, and the unit can overheat.

    Cleaning

Cleaning the Beast GO Cordless is an okay experience, but it has some challenges. The small blending vessel makes it difficult to reach into crevices, which becomes particularly apparent after blending thick spreads like nut butter. These substances also get stuck in the lid and the motor base jar threads, creating multiple areas that are difficult to clean. The blades are sharp and aren’t removable from the motor base, so you also need to be careful during cleaning. On the positive side, the USB-C port has protection.

For an easier-to-clean model, consider the Ninja Blast Max BC251.
