Despite the shared name, the Dyson V10 Konical isn’t an update to the Dyson Cyclone V10, and the two vacuums are built quite differently. The Cyclone V10 is the better choice for bare floors if you get a version with the soft roller head, since it clears fine and larger debris more thoroughly. It also has a bigger dustbin. The V10 Konical is the better pick for pet hair, especially on furniture, because its mini motorized head cleans couch cushions more thoroughly. You can also swap out its battery, so having a spare doubles your cleaning time. The V10 Konical also has a light on the floorhead that shows dust, runs a bit longer on its lowest setting, and works with Dyson's self-emptying dock.
