Dyson V15 Detect

Dyson Gen5detect

The Dyson Gen5detect is a minor improvement over the Dyson V15 Detect, though the V15 is still a good option if you don't want to spend as much and don't want to compromise on performance. The Gen5Detect feels slightly better built, is easier to maintain, and has a more comfortable set of controls, with a dedicated on/off button instead of a trigger. The Gen5Detect's soft roller floorhead also has a brighter light to help you see fine debris on hard floors, and it does a little better on bare surfaces.
