Dyson V8 Cyclone
The Dyson V8 Cyclone is a better vacuum than the original Dyson V8, mainly because it fixes the V8's biggest annoyances. Its battery lasts far longer on low power and recharges faster, and you can swap in a spare battery, which the V8 doesn't allow. You also press a button to start it instead of holding a trigger the whole time you clean. The Cyclone picks up pet hair from carpet better and handles low-pile carpets a bit better too. The V8 is the better choice if you have high-pile rugs.
