The Beautiful Personal Blender is a mid-range personal blender from Drew Barrymore's kitchenware brand, 'Beautiful by Drew.' It comes with lots of jars and extra accessories, including a 16oz jar with a handle, a 13oz personal jar, and a small 6oz cup. There's a special blade included for grinding spices or coffee and plenty of different lids: a straw lid, storage lids, a shaker lid, and cup rings. Otherwise, it has a simple design without any blending programs or a pulse mode. It comes in many different colors than most personal blenders, and like other products from the brand, it's sold directly by the brand only at Walmart.
The Beautiful Personal Blender is sub-par for multi-purpose use. It can make a smooth blend with fibrous ingredients, which makes it a decent choice for smoothies. However, it's not meant for crushing ice without liquid in the jar, and it struggles with recipes like nut butter. The blender isn't meant to run for over a minute continuously without three minutes of rest. It comes with a grinding blade for grinding coffee or spices, which adds some versatility.
The Beautiful Personal Blender is decent for making single-serve smoothies. It makes a mostly smooth blend with fibrous ingredients, which is important for well-blended smoothies. However, you're not supposed to run it continuously without a break for more than a minute, and it doesn't shut down on its own after a minute, making it less convenient to use. That said, it comes with a couple of jars suitable for single-serves as well as a straw lid and cup rings so you can drink right from the jars.
The Beautiful Personal Blender is sub-par for making multiple servings of smoothies. Its biggest jar has a 16oz capacity, so it can only blend at most a couple of smoothies at once. It makes a mostly smooth blend with fibrous ingredients like fruits and leafy greens, but it's not the fastest smoothie blender since you can only run it for one minute continuously before letting the motor rest for several minutes.
The Beautiful Personal Blender isn't suitable for crushing ice. The manual says not to add ice without adding at least one cup of liquid.
The Beautiful Personal Blender isn't suitable for making soups. You can't use it for hot blending (like most personal blenders), and its biggest jar has a 16oz capacity, so it probably won't fit a full soup recipe in one batch. It's not the fastest blender, but it can make a mostly smooth blend with fibrous ingredients like kale and broccoli.
The Beautiful Personal Blender isn't good for professional use. It's not very well-built or versatile. It's a decent choice for single-serve smoothies since it can make a smooth blend with fibrous ingredients. However, you can't run it for over a minute continuously without letting it rest for three minutes, which is an annoying limitation if you're looking for a heavy-duty blender for commercial use. It's tedious to use for nut butter and can't crush ice without liquid in the jar.
We've added a note that Beautiful-brand products are only available at Walmart.
The Beautiful 12-Piece Personal Blender comes in several different colors: 'Black Sesame,' 'Cornflower Blue,' 'Lavender,' 'Porcini Taupe,' 'Rose,' 'Sage Green,' and 'White Icing.' We tested it in 'Black Sesame,' but our results are valid for the other colors as well.

The Beautiful Personal Blender comes with some rare accessories: a grinding blade, a shaker lid, and a lid with a straw, unlike the usual flip-up spout lids most personal blenders include. There are also a couple of cup rings so that you can drink directly from the jars at home. However, it doesn't have the best build quality or performance. It can blend smoothie ingredients like fruit very well, but because it's only meant to run for one minute continuously and doesn't stop on its own after one minute, it's not as convenient to use as similarly priced blenders like the Cuisinart Soho Compact Blender, the Ninja Fit, and the Magic Bullet Blender.

The nutribullet 900 is better than the Beautiful Personal Blender for most uses. The nutribullet has a sturdier build quality and makes a smoother blend with fibrous ingredients, like kale, faster. It's easier to use for thicker recipes like nut butter. However, the Beautiful comes with some accessories you might like: a 6oz cup for small batches of dip or dressing, a straw lid, and a grinding blade.
The Magic Bullet Combo Blender is better than the Hamilton Beach Power Elite Multi-Function for most uses. The Magic Bullet has a better build quality and comes with a 15oz personal jar as well as a 48oz main jar. There are fewer restrictions on how you use the Hamilton Beach, since it can crush ice and process dry ingredients without liquid in the jar, but it's not very good at crushing ice or making nut butter.
The Ninja Fit is better than the Beautiful Personal Blender for most uses. The Ninja has a better build quality and makes a smoother blend with common smoothie ingredients like fruit or kale. It's more versatile since it can easily crush ice and handle recipes like nut butter. However, you might prefer the Beautiful for its accessories, including a straw lid, a shaker lid, and a grinding blade for grinding spices or coffee. Its controls are more convenient, since you don't have to press down on the jar to run the blender.
The Magic Bullet Blender is better than the Beautiful Personal Blender. They're both small and come with some of the same accessories, including a jar with a handle as well as cup rings that make drinking from the jars at home more comfortable. Neither can crush ice on its own. The Magic Bullet has a better blending performance, so it can blend smoothies more quickly and produce a smoother result. The Beautiful comes with a grinding blade, so it can double as a spice and coffee grinder.
The Cuisinart Soho Compact Blender is better than the Beautiful Personal Blender. The Cuisinart has a better build quality and performance for most uses, including making smoothies and crushed ice. However, it only comes with one jar. The Beautiful is sold as a 12-piece set, and its accessories include several jars and a grinding blade.
The Beautiful Personal Blender is a small personal blender, similar to the Magic Bullet Blender. It's easy to store on your counter or in a cupboard.
It has a mediocre build quality. The gears on the motor base and blade assemblies are made of plastic, with no metal components. The motor base feels decently sturdy, but the plastic used for the jars and especially the lids feels cheap. The feet under the motor base don't do a great job of keeping it steady, and the blender moves around a bit when it's running. The motor can also overheat and start to smell like smoke when processing difficult recipes like nut butter.
On the plus side, one of the jars has a convenient handle. It's easy to assemble since the lids twist onto the jars easily. The cup rings, which are meant to make it more comfortable to drink directly from the jar, simply pop into place rather than twisting on. You might also like the fact that it comes in several different colors, with gold-colored accents.
It comes with three jars: a 16oz jar with a handle, a 13oz jar without a handle, and a small 6oz cup for making small batches of sauce or salsa.
It comes with a couple of blade assemblies. The regular blending assembly has four blades that aren't particularly sharp. There's also a two-blade assembly for grinding coffee or spices.
The blade assemblies fit onto the jars like lids. There's a regular blending blade (left) and a grinding blade (right). Also included are a lid with a straw, a pair of storage lids, and a shaker lid. There are a couple of cup rings that snap onto the rim of the 16oz and 13oz jars to make it more comfortable to drink directly from the jars. You can see all the additional lids here.
The power cord is on the short side compared to blenders like the Magic Bullet Blender and the NutriBullet Pro 900. There's nowhere to wrap it up when it's not in use.
It's excellent for processing small batches of fibrous ingredients. The blender can process ingredients like leafy greens easily without any intervention necessary. It also makes a very smooth blend, with only some tiny bits of kale leftover.
However, the manual lists some limitations that make it a bit annoying to use. You're not supposed to continuously run the blender for longer than a minute. After each one-minute cycle, you have to let it rest for three minutes. Unlike many personal blenders, it doesn't automatically shut off after one minute, so if you want to follow the instructions, you'll have to set a timer yourself. Our results reflect its performance after two blending cycles with a rest in between. Running another cycle might improve the texture, but it would be a very long process for a small batch.
The Beautiful Personal Blender performs very similarly with the jar at full capacity. After two one-minute blends (with a three-minute rest in between), it makes a very smooth blend with fibrous ingredients like kale, with only some very small bits of kale leftover. Another minute of blending might perfect the texture but would make blending a smoothie take more than 10 minutes.
It's not good for making nut butter. The easiest way to process the ingredients is by adding them in batches and running the blender in short bursts. The blender has trouble keeping the ingredients moving on its own, so you have to tap, shake, and scrape the sides of the jar often.
The result after several minutes is okay since most of the ingredients get processed into smooth nut butter, with some chunks and unprocessed almonds left over. You can possibly get better results with more blending, but by the end of the process, our ingredients were steaming, and you could smell smoke. To continue processing the ingredients, you'd need to let the motor rest in between blends.
The Beautiful Personal Blender isn't particularly loud for a personal blender. Still, if noise level is a priority, you can find quieter options, like the Cuisinart Soho Compact Blender.
It has a single fast blending speed, like most personal blenders, which helps process fibrous ingredients. Its motor power is pretty low compared to similar blenders like the NutriBullet Pro 900, which likely affects how quickly it processes ingredients and how easily it blends mixtures like nut butter.
While it's difficult to measure the speed of the grinding blade because the blades are so close to the base of the assembly, our measurements show it has a similar speed.
It has no blending programs or controls. You operate the blender by twisting it into place on the base, which starts the blender. You can twist it on and off to simulate a pulse mode, but you always have to stop the blender manually.
It's easy to clean by hand. Running the blender with soap and water helps remove sticky ingredients from the sides of the jar. You'll want to use a brush with a handle to reach into the jar and properly clean the blades. Since ingredients can easily get stuck in the grooves of the motor base when you're docking and undocking the jar, you may need to wipe it with a paper towel after making something that requires a lot of manipulation of the jar, like nut butter.
