Vitamix 5-Speed Immersion

Vitamix 2-Speed Immersion

The Vitamix 2-Speed Immersion is better than the Vitamix 5-Speed Immersion. The 2-Speed has fewer speed settings but makes a much smoother blend with fibrous ingredients. It's also quieter and comes with a whisk. The 5-Speed has a more powerful motor and makes smoother nut butter, but neither model is ideal for that purpose.
