The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL's produce preservation performance is very good. The humidity levels both inside the produce drawer and in the main cabinet are relatively high, which minimizes moisture loss from delicate foodstuffs like celery or lettuce, thereby keeping them crisp and fresh.
Twin-evaporator design allows for more precise humidity control in fridge and freezer compartments.
High humidity level in refrigerator cabinet and crisper drawers helps keep produce fresh.
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL offers excellent refrigerator capacity. The cabinet is generously sized, featuring two large pantry cabinets and a pair of crisper drawers. The door bins have sufficient capacity to fit bigger items like milk jugs, though the autofilling water pitcher does take up a bit of room on the right-hand door. However, this space isn't the most reconfigurable, with only two split shelves and one additional position for the door bins.
High storage capacity in refrigerator compartment.
High capacity pantry cabinets and produce drawers.
Auto-fill pitcher takes up space in refrigerator door.
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL provides decent freezer capacity. Considering this is a wide 36-inch model, the actual usable space inside the cabinet isn't all that impressive, with an upper drawer that's partially dominated by its high-capacity ice bucket. At the very least, the lower bins are somewhat deep. You might find it challenging to fit larger boxed items inside, although it should suffice for more compressible items like frozen vegetables or fruit.
Somewhat deep lower freezer bins.
Large ice tray takes up room in freezer.
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL's temperature uniformity performance is excellent for the most part. The bottom shelf inside the refrigerator is slightly warmer than the rest of the compartment, as are the lowest door bins, although thankfully not by an enormous amount. Temperatures inside the freezer are extremely uniform, but tend to be lower than average, due to Samsung's algorithm that cools the compartment during the ice-making process. As a result, there's no need to worry about things like ice cream going soft if you place it on a higher shelf.
Superb temperature uniformity in freezer cabinet.
Temperatures on middle and top shelves and door bins are very uniform.
Temperatures trend slightly higher in lower half of the fridge compartment.
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL is great for ice making. It's fitted with two in-freezer ice makers, allowing it to produce normally-sized cubes and smaller ice nuggets. In terms of ice production rate, it's excellent, as it can produce enough ice for a moderately sized party within a day. Its ice trays are also more than large enough to supply enough ice for a big family barbecue or a cocktail party.
Dual ice makers allow for high ice production.
High-capacity ice tray.

Popular Refrigerator Comparisons
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL is a high-end 36-inch French-door fridge. While it's still packed to the gills with features, like a quartet of pull-out drawers for pantry items and produce, an automatically-filling water pitcher, and a pair of ice makers, its feature-set is actually a little modest next to some other Samsung Bespoke models: there's no in-door water or ice dispenser and no built-in touchscreen, which are likely to involve costly repairs where they to fail. This fridge actually executes very well on the fundamentals, with a high-capacity refrigeration cabinet, good overall temperature uniformity, and superior produce preservation performance to direct competitors like the GE Profile PGE29BYTFS and Bosch 100 Series B36FD10ENS. That said, it's worth noting that these alternatives also have higher-capacity freezers.
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL is a higher-performing fridge than the Frigidaire FRFN2813AF. The Samsung provides more consistent fridge temperatures and has a dual-evaporator design that results in a more humid fridge cabinet, helping to keep fresh produce crisp for longer. That being said, as far as serviceability is concerned, Samsung's service network is less robust than Frigidaire's, and you'll have an easier time finding replacement parts for the latter, too.
The Samsung Bespoke RF24BB6600QL and Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL are similarly designed French-door refrigerators, but fulfill different needs, given their difference in sizing. The RF30BB6200QL is a standard-depth unit that offers increased capacity, particularly in its freezer compartment, making it a more suitable option for larger families. Meanwhile, the RF24BB6600QL counter-depth sizing is designed to appeal to those who want a near-flush fit inside their kitchens and don't mind the reduction in capacity. The RF24BB6600QL's in-door 'Beverage Center' also helps keep cans and bottles organized, but plays a small part in its somewhat high door bin temperature offset.
The Maytag MRFF4236RZ and Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL are both evenly matched standard-depth French door refrigerators, though they do have slightly different strengths. The Maytag employs a simpler single-evaporator, fixed-speed compressor cooling system design to achieve comparable product preservation and temperature uniformity to the Samsung, which uses a more complex cooling system comprising dual evaporators and an inverter-controlled compressor. While simplicity isn't a guarantee of reliability, it does present fewer failure points. Beyond that, the Maytag's ejector-style ice maker is less likely to break due to long-term wear than the Samsung's dual twist-tray ice makers, although the latter setup does have a higher yield. It's also worth noting that the Samsung provides a noticeable amount of extra room in its fridge and freezer cabinets versus the Maytag.
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL and LG LF30S8210S are both 36" French-door fridges, but the former is the stronger overall performer. The Samsung's dual-evaporator design results in a higher-humidity environment inside its fridge cabinet, so fresh produce stays crisper for longer. It also does a better job of maintaining uniform temperatures in its fridge, especially along the door bins. That said, the LG has more space inside its fridge and freezer, so it's worth a look if capacity is your main concern. Neither brand is top of the class as far as serviceability goes: Samsung's supply of spare parts is a little more consistent, but the brand's service network doesn't extend as far as LG's in more rural states.
Test Results
Samsung has made a lot of hay about the customizability aspect of the Bespoke lineup. You can buy most variants of this fridge without the standard-fit stainless steel panels and swap them out for glass panels available in 11 other colors.
If you'd like a preview of what those panels would look like in the real world, you can also use Samsung's Bespoke Kitchen Design Studio configurator.
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL's refrigerator storage capacity is excellent. As a 36-inch standard-depth unit, this isn't too surprising: it makes good use of the space, featuring two split shelves for taller items, two produce drawers, and two high-capacity pantry drawers. Similarly, the door bins are deep enough to fit larger items, such as milk jugs; however, they don't offer much in the way of flexibility, with only one additional positional slot.
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL's freezer storage capacity is only decent. Despite its fairly large footprint, the room inside the freezer is reduced by two main factors: the lower bins don't extend that far along the depth of the cabinet due to a bump-out at the rear of the space, and the high-capacity ice tray, which takes up approximately 30% of the usable cabinet space. Usable volume increases to 4.69 cu. ft. (132.90 L) with the ice bucket removed. As a result of all this, you may find it difficult to fit large and rigid boxed items, such as frozen fish or chicken, inside this compartment.
This freezer capacity is identical to that of the GE GNE27JYMFS, which features a smaller ice tray but a shorter top freezer drawer.
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL uses a twin-evaporator design, with separate coils in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. This setup allows for more precise humidity control within each of the two compartments. Beyond that, since air is circulated within the confines of each compartment, there's no odor transference across both sections.
It also uses a single inverter-style compressor. Twin-compressor setups are far from a common design aspect, traditionally only found on commercial and very high-end household fridges, so that isn't something that would be necessarily expected. However, some higher-end models, such as the Bosch 800 Series B36CT80SNS, utilize two compressors, which provide more precise temperature regulation in each section of the unit. A dual compressor design also provides additional redundancy in the event that one compressor fails.
This fridge has a pair of twist-tray ice makers, one for making larger cubes and the other for producing 'ice nuggets' (effectively pebbled ice). Traditionally, the plastic used in twist-tray ice makers can become brittle due to cold temperatures and frequent torsional rotation. However, at the very least, these ice trays are of a very simple design and can be accessed quickly.
They're also located in the freezer, which is generally preferable as far as ice maker placement goes, as there's no need to maintain a stable microclimate as there would be for an ice maker built into a fridge door.
The Samsung RF30BB6200QL comes with Samsung's Autofill pitcher. The included pitcher slots into a recess on the inside of the door, where it's refilled with filtered water if the water level inside has dropped. Unfortunately, you can't refill a glass directly from this source.
Parts availability for the Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL can be inconsistent. This fridge was released in 2022 and shares a lot with other Samsung Bespoke models, strengthening the supply of core components. That said, certain parts that tend to require more frequent replacement aren't always reliable, which can leave you with a malfunctioning but still partially functional fridge while you wait for a backordered part.
Authorized service provider coverage for Samsung is a bit mixed. Major metro areas are very well-served, but you might find it difficult to get in touch with an authorized technician in more rural states. If strong authorized service coverage is absolutely paramount to you, consider a comparable model from a brand with a more established domestic presence, such as the Frigidaire FRFN2813AF.
Temperature uniformity within the fridge is good for the most part. The top and middle shelves are both similarly cold, though, unusually, the bottom shelf is slightly warmer than the rest of the cabinet. Similarly, the lower door bin is a little on the warmer side, though not to the extent that it would drastically impact the spoilage of temperature-sensitive items like milk or cream.
Temperatures inside this unit's freezer compartment are remarkably consistent. You won't have to worry about items in the upper section of the cabinet getting soft while others become frozen solid; all items should be cooled to a similar degree.
It's worth noting that temperatures inside the freezer compartment tend to be well below the baseline we've observed in most other fridges. This is an intended design trait, with Samsung's cooling algorithm lowering the freezer temperature to hasten the ice-making process. It isn't a massive difference compared to most other freezers, and is unlikely to result in ice buildup on the freezer evaporator coils.
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL's produce preservation performance is very good. Humidity levels inside the produce drawers can remain at a relatively high level. However, it's worth noting that humidity levels throughout the rest of the refrigeration compartment are also somewhat high, which can help keep produce crisp and fresh even when it's placed outside the crisper drawer.
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL's ice production rate is impressive. This is no doubt driven by the twin ice makers and the freezer's lower-than-average temperatures, which accelerate the ice production process. You have the choice between smaller ice nuggets for quicker cooling and dilution in drinks and more conventionally sized cubes for slower, more gradual dilution.
The Samsung RF30BB6200QL's ice-making capacity is excellent, provided you're not too fussy about mixing ice types. A full yield of both trays should be sufficient for larger family gatherings or moderately busy cocktail parties. If you want a fridge with an even greater maximum ice yield, you could also consider the Frigidaire GRFS2853AD as an alternative.
The Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6200QL is generally a quiet fridge, although there are caveats. It won't be too much of a disturbance if you're accustomed to working in a busy kitchen or if your kitchen is separated from the rest of your living space. That said, the hum of its compressor in normal operation can be faintly heard in an otherwise quiet living space and has a higher pitch than some other alternatives, which can be slightly disruptive for those with more sensitive hearing.
