The Samsung Jet 60 Pet is the entry-level model in Samsung's lineup of Jet stick vacuums. It shares a lot with the Samsung Jet 70 Pet, with the same 150-airwatt motor, 1800 mAh battery, and a relatively similar set of attachments. The main difference between the two is the Jet 60's Jet Fit floorhead, which, while lighter than the Jet 70's Turbo Action Brush, results in inferior overall performance on most surfaces.
Our Verdict
The Samsung Jet 60 is good for bare floors. It has no trouble dealing with small debris and pet hair on this surface type, though it's worth mentioning that pet hair can get tangled around its brushroll. It also has a slightly harder time dealing with bulkier debris. Still, its lightweight construction makes it easy to maneuver in tight spaces, and it has an easy-to-maintain design that incurs few recurring costs.

The Samsung Jet 60 is a good option for low-pile carpet. It easily clears away pet hair and most fine and large debris, though you might still need to make an extra pass to get everything. It doesn't weigh very much, enabling you to pick it up and carry it without much effort, though its floorhead can still get caught on loose obstructions like rug tassels. Its battery life isn't especially impressive either. Thankfully, the vacuum is easy to maintain and incurs few recurring costs.

The Samsung Jet 60 is great for cleaning high-pile carpet. It exerts a fairly strong force through its floorhead, enabling it to suck up most fine and large debris on this surface type, not to mention pet hair. It isn't especially noisy and has a lightweight construction that makes it easy to maneuver. However, there's no brushroll on/off switch or method of height adjustment, making it hard to clean surfaces like shag-pile carpeting.

The Samsung Jet 60 is a decent choice for dealing with pet hair. While it has no trouble sucking up pet hair on bare floors or low and high-pile carpet, hair can still become tightly wrapped around its brushroll. Its turbo brush attachment does an okay job dealing with pet hair on upholstered surfaces, though you'll probably need to make several passes to get all of it. It also doesn't come with a mopping floorhead to deal with any mud or dirt your pet might track in. However, it isn't especially noisy, which is good if your pet is sensitive to loud noises. It has a five-stage filtration system that's effective in sealing in fine allergens.

The Samsung Jet 60 is excellent for vacuuming staircases. Its cordless design ensures that you don't need to worry about tripping over a power cable, while its lightweight construction enables you to pick it up and carry it with minimal effort. It can be quickly reconfigured as a handheld vacuum to clean tight spots. Performance on bare surfaces is decent, and it does a very good job of dealing with material on carpeted stairs.

The Samsung Jet 60 is a great option for vacuuming the inside of your car. Its cordless design enables you to clean all parts of your car's interior without having to stay close to an electrical outlet. You can use it as a handheld vacuum by removing its wand and floorhead to clean tight spots. It comes with a crevice tool for tackling debris in narrower cracks and a turbo brush for dealing with debris on floormats and upholstered seats, though this attachment can struggle with clearing away shorter strands of hair.

The Samsung Jet 60 is okay for workshop cleaning, though this isn't what it's designed for. Test Results
The Samsung Jet 60 Pet stick vacuum is reasonably well-built. Like the similarly-designed Samsung Jet 70 Pet, it's mostly made of plastic, though it does have a lightweight metal wand with a shiny rose gold finish, which gives it a more premium appearance. The glossy control buttons on its handle can scratch easily.
Assembling the vacuum is easy and intuitive. The charging station is easy to put together, but you may need to look at the instructions.
The Samsung Jet 60 cordless vacuum is decently easy to maintain. It shares most of the same maintenance requirements as the Samsung Jet 70 Pet, except for its floorhead.
- Dirt compartment: You can remove the dustbin by pushing the release button near its top edge. After removing the micro filter and cyclone filter assembly, you can empty the dustbin over a garbage can. You can also wash it with water when needed.
- Cyclone: Twist the cyclone filter counter-clockwise against the dustbin to separate the two. When necessary, you can use the included cleaning tool to clear away any stuck-on debris. It can also be washed with water whenever you notice a significant buildup of debris.
- Micro filter: The micro filter is located above the cyclone filter and can be pulled free by its grab handle. You should clear away any stuck-on dirt regularly and wash it with water once a month.
- HEPA filter: Twist to unlock and remove it from the main body of the vacuum, where it sits above the dirt compartment. You can remove any dust and debris from this filter as needed and wash it with water once a month.
- Jet Fit floorhead: Click on the release button located on the side of floorhead to unlock and pull out the brushroll. It tends to collect a lot of pet hair, which gets tangled pretty tightly around it, so you'll need to clean it pretty frequently if you have heavily-shedding pets. Thankfully, it's very easy to cut away any tangled hair with a pair of scissors after removing the brushroll from the floorhead.
- Motorized brush tool: Use the crevice tool to clean this part and suck out any loose debris with the vacuum.
Any part that you wash with water should be allowed to dry thoroughly, out of direct sunlight, before being put back in the vacuum. Unlike pricer models, like the Samsung Jet 90 Complete, there's no LED light on the handle to indicate when there's a clog, brushroll obstruction, missing filter, or when the vacuum isn't assembled properly.
The Samsung Jet 60 Pet incurs impressively low recurring costs.
- HEPA Filter: No replacement interval is given for the HEPA filter. However, it's recommended that you swap in a new one if you notice a decrease in vacuum performance, even if you clean the filter according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

The Samsung Jet 60 Pet is easy to store. It has the same dimensions as the Samsung Jet 70 Pet and comes with a very similar rack station, which has space for two of its included tools, but no secondary battery charging slot. It doesn't have a telescopic wand, which would help reduce its vertical footprint.
The Samsung Jet 60's dirt compartment is okay. It's smaller than the advertised claim of 0.8L, requiring you to empty it pretty often, though this isn't unusual for a vacuum of this type. It's made of clear plastic, allowing you to see how full it is at a glance.

The Samsung Jet 60 Pet's range is limited only by the remaining battery life and the room left in its dirt compartment.
The Samsung Jet 60 is very portable. Its smaller floorhead results in a lower overall weight than the Samsung Jet 70 Pet, which is already lightweight to begin with. You can easily maneuver this vacuum in tight spaces or pick it up and carry it around.
The Samsung Jet 60's battery performance is alright. It uses the same 1800 mAh battery as the Samsung Jet 70 Pet, yielding similar overall runtime. Using it in its most energy-efficient 'MIN' mode with only its crevice tool attached yields almost 50 minutes of runtime, which is in line with the manufacturer's advertised claim of 40 minutes. However, you can drain its battery in a little over five minutes when using it in its most powerful 'MAX' mode with its floorhead attached. It forces you to work fast when vacuuming stubborn messes or surfaces like high-pile carpeting.
The Samsung Jet 60 has relatively few quality-of-life features. Using the '+' and '-' buttons on the handle lets you switch between its three different power modes: the energy-efficient 'MIN' mode, the default 'MED' mode, and the high-power 'MAX' mode. Unlike other models in Samsung's lineup of Jet Stick Vacuums, there's no miniature display to indicate the current suction power mode, so you'll need to judge what mode the vacuum is in based on the sound it's making when pressing the power control buttons. There are also no battery indicator lights on the vacuum's body, though there are visible charge indicators on the battery itself.
The Samsung Jet 60 Pet comes with a couple of tools and accessories. There's a miniature turbo brush for cleaning fabric surfaces, a crevice tool for tacking debris in cracks, and a combination soft-bristle brush/upholstery tool for cleaning delicate surfaces and furniture. Swapping between these attachments is very easy, thanks to their quick-release tabs.

The Samsung Jet 60 is okay for dealing with pet hair on upholstered furniture. When used with its Mini Motorized Tool, it has little trouble dealing with longer strands of hair, but it struggles with shorter hairs, forcing you to make several passes to get all of it.
The Samsung Jet 60 Pet is effective in sealing in fine particles. Like all other Samsung Jet stick vacuums, it has a five-stage filtration system that's advertised as being able to seal in 99.999% of microdust particles.
The Samsung Jet 60 does a decent job dealing with debris in cracks and crevices. While the Jet Fit floorhead doesn't offer the same level of debris pickup as the Soft Action Brush included with the Samsung Jet 90 Complete, it still manages to clear away most material. You're still better off using the vacuum's crevice tool to deal with debris in deeper crevices.
The Samsung Jet 60 Pet does a terrible job dealing with dried-on stains. Unlike the Samsung Jet 70 Pet, which is listed as being fully compatible with a dedicated mopping floorhead, no comparable accessory has been released for the Jet 60.

Compared To Other Vacuums
The Samsung Jet 60 is a pretty basic cordless stick vacuum. It's very similar in design to the slightly more expensive Samsung Jet 70 Pet, with the same 1800 mAh battery and 150-airwatt motor, but it comes with a different Jet Fit floorhead. While this new floorhead is smaller and lighter than the Turbo Action floorhead included with pricier models, it struggles a little more with picking up larger debris, while pet hair tends to get tangled in its brushroll a little more easily. The Jet 60 also lacks the small status display found on more expensive models, which shows you the vacuum's current power mode and if there are any blockages or other mechanical issues.

The Samsung Jet 90 Complete is better than the Samsung Jet 60 Pet. The Jet 90 comes with a telescopic wand, has a longer battery life, features a small status display, and has a wider array of tools and accessories. Its soft-roller floorhead yields superior performance on bare floors, while its universal Turbo Action floorhead struggles less with pet hair getting tangled around its brushroll. The Jet 90 also comes with a rack station that has room for a second battery to charge at the same time as the vacuum, though only one battery is included. However, the Jet 60 is notably lighter.
The Dyson V8 Animal and Samsung Jet 60 Pet each have advantages, and one might suit you better than the other, depending on your needs. The Dyson performs better on bare floors and low-pile carpet and does a better job of dealing with pet hair on furniture. Meanwhile, the Samsung charges much faster while offering similar overall battery life, has a larger dirt compartment, and performs better on high-pile carpet.
The Samsung Jet 70 Pet and Samsung Jet 60 Pet are very similarly-designed vacuums that differ in very minor ways. The pricier Jet 70 is ultimately the better option for most users thanks to its more effective Turbo Action Brushroll, which yields superior performance on most surface types. Unlike the Jet 60, it's fully compatible with Samsung's Sweeping Brush Floorhead, which is meant for stains on bare floors. The Jet 70 also features a small display that allows you to monitor the vacuum's current power mode and shows any vacuum status warnings, like a jammed brushroll or blockage.
The Dyson V15 Detect is better than the Samsung Jet 60 Pet. The Dyson has a much longer battery life, more tools and accessories, and performs better across all surface types. It also has an automatic surface detection system and can automatically adjust its suction power depending on the surface you're on. However, the Samsung weighs less and makes less noise.
The Dyson V11 Animal is better than the Samsung Jet 60 Pet, though the Samsung is a good alternative for the price. However, the Samsung charges much faster, weighs considerably less, and makes slightly less noise.
The Samsung Bespoke Jet is better than the Samsung Jet 60 Pet, though not by a huge margin, despite the large price differential between the two. The Bespoke Jet comes with a Cleaning Station Accessory that enables you to empty its dustbin without releasing a plume of dust, though you can purchase a comparable accessory for use with the Jet 60. The Bespoke also comes with a second battery that can be charged on its separate accessory rack, allowing you to quickly swap in a new full-charged battery as soon as the one in the vacuum runs out. The Bespoke Jet's twin brushroll floorhead and more powerful 210-AW motor yield better performance on all surface types, though its bigger brushroll makes it harder to maneuver than the lighter Jet 60. The Jet 60 also has a slightly larger dustbin.
The Samsung Jet 60 Pet is better than the BISSELL Adapt Ion Pet. The Samsung takes up less room, has a larger dustbin, weighs less, has a much longer battery life, and comes with more tools. It also delivers better performance across all surface types. Conversely, the BISSELL is a little more maneuverable.
