Our Verdict

Ninja AF101

Ninja Air Fryer Pro XL AF181

The Ninja Air Fryer Pro XL AF181 is a better choice than the Ninja AF101. Both air fryers make decent-quality air-fried food, but the AF181 preheats and cooks more quickly. It also maintains a more stable temperature throughout the cooking process. The AF181 provides more versatility, too, with a higher maximum temperature and a couple of extra preset cooking modes. Finally, the AF181 is slightly smaller than the AF101, despite having a larger 6.5-quart capacity compared to the 4.2-quart AF101.
