The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro is a large toaster oven-style air fryer with a 16.7-quart capacity, enough to serve a crowd. The brand markets the air fryer as a non-toxic alternative to conventional options, stating that both the air fryer and its included accessories are made without PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). It features a sleek design with a digital touchscreen that offers eight different cooking modes, including 'Toast,' 'Roast,' and 'Dehydrate.' It's also available in a range of colors, which is unusual for an air fryer.
Our Verdict
The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro is a decent air fryer. It cooks pretty evenly, leaving most of each batch crispy and golden brown, and just a small amount either undercooked or burnt. This air fryer is also decently versatile. It has an outstanding temperature range, and its fan speed gets low enough for proofing dough or dehydrating. Unfortunately, its maximum fan speed is very low. This impacts how well it can crisp up your food and how quickly it can cook. As a result, its cooking speed is just alright, and it takes a long time to preheat.
Makes good-quality fried food.
Decently versatile.
Preheats slowly.
Maximum fan speed is very slow.
The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro provides excellent performance for large-batch cooking. With a roomy 16.7-quart capacity, it has more space than even the largest basket-style air fryers. There's plenty of surface area in its air-frying basket, so it's easy to spread food out for better results. It makes good-quality fried food, leaving most of each batch crispy and well-browned, though it takes a while to produce results. It's a decently versatile option, too. There's a wide range of temperature settings, and its fan can reach a low enough speed for dehydrating fruit or even turn off altogether to ensure your baked goods don't dry out. However, its maximum fan speed is very slow, which makes it less effective for making extra crispy food and limits how quickly it can cook. It preheats slowly, and its cooking speed is just adequate, so it takes a while to make multiple batches.
Lots of capacity and surface area to cook with.
Makes good-quality fried food.
Decently versatile.
Preheats slowly.
Maximum fan speed is very slow.
The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro delivers good frying performance. Being a large, oven-style air fryer, its air frying basket has plenty of surface area, so it's easy to arrange food in a single layer for crispier results. On the other hand, the maximum fan speed is very slow, and, combined with the large capacity, this contributes to slow preheat and cooking speeds. Still, while it takes longer to cook, it produces good-quality fried food, cooking fairly evenly, so just a small amount of each batch is left undercooked or burnt.
Lots of capacity and surface area to cook with.
Makes good-quality fried food.
Minimal temperature fluctuation.
Preheats slowly.
Maximum fan speed is very slow.
The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro offers a mediocre cooking speed. It takes a long time to preheat, but it cooks food reasonably fast.
Preheats slowly.
The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro has a very large, 16.7-quart capacity. It's big enough to cook meals for the whole family, and there's plenty of surface area in the air frying basket, so it's easy to spread food out for better results.
Lots of capacity and surface area to cook with.
The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro is a very large air fryer, which makes sense given its large capacity. It takes up a lot of counter space and doesn't fit into an average-sized cupboard.

Popular Air Fryer Comparisons
The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro is a high-end 16.7-quart oven-style air fryer. It's a larger, more feature-packed, and more expensive version of the Our Place Wonder Oven, and it performs accordingly. The Wonder Oven Pro makes better-quality fried food, and although it preheats the large cooking chamber slowly, it still cooks faster overall. It's more versatile as well. While it actually has a narrower range of fan speeds, it can reach a lower temperature, allowing you to proof dough or dehydrate. Compared to the Breville the Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro, another high-end oven-style air fryer, it performs pretty well. While the Breville offers more versatility as well as a number of connectivity features, the Our Place makes better-quality fried food and finishes cooking faster. That said, when it comes to air frying, basket-style air fryers tend to outperform oven-style fryers. For example, the Typhur Dome 2, a high-end air fryer with a wide, basket-style design, makes even better-quality fried food faster.

The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro is a larger, more advanced version of the Our Place Wonder Oven. The Pro version is more expensive, and it takes up more counter space, but it also performs better overall. The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro leaves more of each batch of food crispy, and while it takes longer to preheat the large cooking chamber, it cooks faster overall. Despite a narrower range of fan speeds, the Pro version is also more versatile. It can reach lower temperatures and, as such, offers a couple of extra preset cooking modes: Proof and Dehydrate. Whether the added cost is worth it will depend on your priorities, but you can be sure that the Pro version is indeed a step up.
The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro and the Breville the Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro are both very large oven-style air fryers. When it comes to air frying, the Our Place has the edge, but the Breville is more versatile and comes with some unique connectivity features, so you may prefer either depending on your priorities. The Our Place leaves more of each batch of fries, wings, and other air fryer staples crispy and well-cooked. It also preheats and cooks faster, making it a better choice for quick, crispy snacks. The Breville offers a wider range of temperature and fan speed settings, as well as more preset cooking modes, making it a better choice if you plan to make a wide variety of recipes with your air fryer. The Breville also comes with a companion app, which allows you to send recipe info to the air fryer, use voice activation, or access 'Joule Autopilot,' a feature that automatically switches between cooking modes to finish cooking more autonomously.
The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro and the Ninja Foodi DZ550 are both large air fryers; however, the Our Place is an oven-style air fryer, whereas the Ninja is a basket-style air fryer with two baskets. Overall, the Ninja is the better choice for most people. The Ninja makes better-quality fried food, leaving more of every batch crispy and well-cooked, and it preheats and cooks faster. It's also a more versatile option, mainly thanks to its top fan speed, which is much faster than the Our Place's. This helps it make extra crispy food and helps explain why it cooks so much faster than the Our Place.
The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro and the Ninja Pro AF141 are very different air fryers. The Our Place is a large oven-style air fryer, while the Ninja is a much smaller basket-style air fryer. Still, unless you frequently need to cook large batches of food, the Ninja is a better choice. The Ninja only makes slightly better-quality fried food, but it does so a lot faster, preheating and cooking faster overall. It's also more versatile. While it has a somewhat narrower range of temperature settings and fewer preset cooking modes, the Ninja offers a wider range of fan speeds, particularly a higher maximum fan speed. In contrast, the Our Place's fan doesn't reach a very high speed, which helps explain its slow cooking speed and impacts how well it can crisp up food.
Test Results
Like with the Our Place Wonder Oven, we weren't able to match this air fryer's advertised capacity. Instead, we found a 16.7-quart (15.83 L) capacity when taking into account the entire cooking chamber, which is still larger than most other air fryers.
Chamber width: 34 cm
Chamber depth: 33.5 cm
Chamber height: 13.9 cm
Full chamber capacity: 15.83 L
The manufacturer recommends air frying in the top or middle rack positions, limiting the usable height. Using the middle rack position and taking into account the size of the air frying basket leaves you with 13 quarts (12.33 L) of capacity to work with.
Air fryer basket width: 31.8 cm
Air fryer basket depth: 27.9 cm
Usable chamber height in middle rack position: 10.8 cm
Air frying capacity in the middle rack position: 12.33 L
While the chamber interior doesn't have a nonstick coating, the baking tray uses a ceramic nonstick coating.
The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro provides decent versatility. It has a wide range of temperature settings, but while its fan can reach quite a low speed or turn off completely, its maximum fan speed isn't very fast. This low maximum speed impacts how quickly the air fryer can cook and how crispy it can make your food.
There are eight preset cooking modes, most of which can be adjusted in 5 °F increments. The 'Broil' setting can be adjusted in 50 °F increments, while 'Dehydrate' and 'Proof' can be adjusted in 1 °F increments.
- Air Fry: 250 °F–450 °F, 1 min–4 hrs, fan speed: 1,700 RPM
- Reheat: 175 °F–450 °F, 1 min–2 hrs, fan speed: 1,280 RPM
- Roast: 175 °F–450 °F, 1 min–4 hrs, fan speed: 1,230 RPM

- Toast: 350 °F–450 °F, 30s–20 mins, fan speed: 1,190 RPM
Notably, the Wonder Oven Pro doesn't include traditional toast settings; instead, it relies on regular temperature settings. You can see the suggested cooking time for your preferred shade in Our Place's toast guide.
Along with the air frying basket, this model comes with additional accessories, including a bake pan, two wire racks, and a crumb tray. Unfortunately, the bake pan for our unit arrived damaged.
This air fryer also features a small water inlet, allowing you to add steam to the cooking process. The water inlet lid doubles as a 25 mL measuring cup.
Using the air frying basket in the middle position, the Our Place Wonder Oven Pro makes good-quality air-fried food. It leaves most of each batch crispy and well-cooked, with just a small portion being undercooked or burnt. According to the manufacturer, you can also air fry in the top position. We chose the middle position to keep our testing consistent with the Our Place Wonder Oven, and we expect results to differ based on the rack position used.
It cooks reasonably quickly, considering its large capacity. That said, it takes longer than most other air fryers to preheat, likely because of its size and low maximum fan speed. It's also worth noting that users on Reddit are reporting vastly different preheat speeds. The timer doesn't start counting down until the air fryer reaches the set temperature, either, which can be annoying.
It takes a while to reheat the large cooking chamber after you open the door to add food. Once the air fryer reaches the set temperature, however, it remains very stable throughout the rest of the cooking process.
