The Our Place Wonder Oven is a compact toaster oven-style air fryer with a 7.1-quart capacity. It's marketed as a non-toxic option that's aesthetic enough to leave on your countertop and is available in a variety of colors to match your style. It features six different cooking modes, including 'Toast,' 'Bake,' and 'Reheat,' as well as an option to add a couple of teaspoons of water to a reservoir to add steam.
Our Verdict
The Our Place Wonder Oven is a mediocre air fryer. It makes fair-quality fried food, so by the time meals and snacks like French fries, chicken strips, and veggies are mostly crispy, a large portion remains undercooked. It takes a long time to reach this result, too. Unfortunately, its versatility is just okay, so it's not very useful for other cooking methods either. Its lowest temperature is too high for dehydrating or proofing dough, and its highest fan speed isn't very fast, which isn't ideal when you need a quick blast of heat.
Large cooking surface area to spread food out in one layer.
Cooks food slowly.
High minimum temperature.
Low maximum fan speed.
The Our Place Wonder Oven is a good option for large batch cooking. Its 7.1-quart capacity is enough to cook for five to six people, and its basket has plenty of space to spread food out in a single layer. Unfortunately, it makes only fair-quality food, and while it takes a long time to cook, it leaves a large portion of each batch undercooked. With a narrow temperature and fan speed range, it's not particularly versatile either.

Low maximum fan speed.
The Our Place Wonder Oven provides adequate air-frying performance. There's plenty of room in the basket to spread food out in a single layer, but the maximum fan speed is very slow, which affects how well the air fryer can make food crispy. As a result, it air fries unevenly, so when most of your food is done, a large portion remains undercooked. Plus, it takes a long time to reach this result. Its temperature stability is just decent, too, making it a bit of a challenge to follow recipes precisely.

The Our Place Wonder Oven has a sub-par cooking speed. Compared to other air fryers, it takes a while to preheat and a long time to cook food.

The Our Place Wonder Oven has an impressive cooking capacity. With 7.1 quarts of measured capacity, there's enough space to cook for five or six people. Its basket also has a large surface area, so there's plenty of space to spread food out in a single layer.

The Our Place Wonder Oven is fairly compact. It won't take up too much space on your counter, and it's small enough to fit in a cupboard when you're not using it.

Popular Air Fryer Comparisons
The Our Place Wonder Oven is a 7.1-quart toaster oven-style air fryer with enough capacity for about five to six people. It's not as versatile as models like the COSORI TurboBlaze, which offers a wider temperature and fan speed range, so you can't use it for alternate cooking methods, like dehydrating. Since its top fan speed isn't very fast, it takes longer to cook food than options like the Ninja Pro AF141. Compared to similarly sized air fryers, like the BELLA 6qt Pro 90165, its basket has more surface area, so it's easier to spread food out in a single layer. Unfortunately, this doesn't do much to improve its frying quality, and ultimately, it produces less crispy food than the BELLA.

The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro is a larger, more advanced version of the Our Place Wonder Oven. The Pro version is more expensive, and it takes up more counter space, but it also performs better overall. The Our Place Wonder Oven Pro leaves more of each batch of food crispy, and while it takes longer to preheat the large cooking chamber, it cooks faster overall. Despite a narrower range of fan speeds, the Pro version is also more versatile. It can reach lower temperatures and, as such, offers a couple of extra preset cooking modes: Proof and Dehydrate. Whether the added cost is worth it will depend on your priorities, but you can be sure that the Pro version is indeed a step up.
The COSORI TurboBlaze is a better air fryer than the Our Place Wonder Oven. The COSORI produces better quality fried food, leaving much less of each batch over- or undercooked, and it does so more quickly. It's a lot more versatile as well, with a wider range of both temperatures and fan speeds. This allows you to dehydrate, proof dough, and keep food warm without drying it out. The Our Place has a bit more capacity and takes up a bit less room on your countertop, but the difference isn't enough to be noticeable, making the COSORI the better choice regardless.
The Ninja Foodi DZ071 is a better air fryer than the Our Place Wonder Oven. The Ninja produces better quality fried food, leaving a much smaller percentage of each batch over- or undercooked. It's more versatile, too, with a wider range of temperatures and fan speeds, so you can use the Ninja for a variety of cooking methods, including dehydrating. The Ninja also has two baskets, and while the Our Place has two racks, which allows you to cook a lot of food at one time, the Ninja allows you to use different settings for each basket, so you can cook a full meal and even have different components finish at the same time.
The Breville the Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro is a better choice than the Our Place Wonder Oven for most people. The Breville makes better-quality fried food, so more of each batch comes out crispy, and it has a larger capacity. It also offers more versatility; it has a wider range of fan speeds and temperature settings, as well as more preset cooking modes. On the other hand, the Our Place is smaller, and it preheats and cooks faster. It's worth noting that both of these appliances include some special features that could sway your decision. The Our Place features steam infusion, while the Breville offers a companion app with additional features like 'Autopilot,' which can automatically switch between cooking modes and guided recipes.
Test Results
It's very compact and takes up less counter space than most similar-capacity models. The Instant Pot Duo Crisp 6.5QT, for example, takes up significantly more space despite offering a bit less capacity.
Although this air fryer's advertised capacity is 12.7 quarts, we weren't able to match this measurement, even after multiple attempts. Instead, we found a much smaller capacity of 7.1 quarts, which is still a fair amount of space to cook with. Compared to other 7-quart models, like the Gourmia GAF798, the basket has a very large surface area, so there's plenty of space to spread food out in a single layer. Still, if you'd prefer a larger-capacity model, consider the Breville the Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro.
This air fryer has alright versatility. It doesn't have a very wide temperature range. While it can get very hot, its lowest temperature is just 200 °F, which is not low enough for dehydrating or proofing dough. Similarly, its minimum fan speed is quite low, which is helpful for baking and other delicate tasks, but its top fan speed isn't very fast, which impacts how quickly the air fryer crisps food.
Still, Our Place lists six different modes:
- Air Fry
- Toast: Suggested setting: 450 °F
- Roast
- Bake
- Broil: Suggested setting: 400–450 °F
- Reheat
You can set the temperature dial between 200–450 °F regardless of the chosen mode. Our Place doesn't provide information on the fan speed for each mode. There's also an option to add one or two teaspoons of water to a small reservoir on top of the fryer for a 'steam infusion.'
This air fryer produces fair-quality fried food. By the time most of your food is crispy and golden brown, a large portion is still undercooked, while a few pieces are already burnt.
If you want a similar model that cooks more evenly, try the Our Place Wonder Oven Pro, which leaves more of your food crispy.
It takes longer than average to preheat and cooks very slowly. If you're looking for an oven-style air fryer that cooks decently fast, consider the Chefman Multifunctional Air Fryer+, which takes some time to preheat but cooks faster overall.
This air fryer has decent temperature stability. While it heats back up pretty quickly after you add food, it doesn't maintain a very stable temperature throughout cooking. This can make it tricky to follow precise recipes or cook delicate foods like fish.
