The eufy Auto-Empty C10 is an entry-level robot vacuum with a self-emptying dock. Its low-profile design lets it clean under furniture that taller robot vacuums can't reach, and it has an extendable side brush that helps it pull debris from edges and corners. It uses a LIDAR sensor for mapping and route planning, with support for up to three saved maps for multi-floor homes. The included auto-empty station stores debris in a disposable dustbag, resulting in a more hygienic debris disposal process. This model only vacuums and doesn't have a mopping function.
Our Verdict
The eufy Auto-Empty C10 is sub-par for multi-surface households. If your home is mostly hard floors, you'll be happy with how it handles daily messes. But if you have lots of carpeted areas, you'll see debris embedded in the fibers and a noticeable amount of pet hair left behind. You'll also need to step in often to free it from rug tassels or reposition lightweight furniture that's been bumped around. Since it doesn't have a mop, you'll need a separate solution for spills or sticky messes. At least the self-empty dock empties the onboard dustbin automatically, so you don't have to handle the contents yourself.
Clears most everyday messes from hard floors.
Leaves a significant amount of pet hair behind on carpet.
Doesn't feature a mop.
Bumps into furniture and obstacles repeatedly.
The eufy Auto-Empty C10 is a poor choice for pet owners. It leaves a lot of pet hair behind on carpets, requiring you to follow up with another vacuum to get a thorough clean. It also doesn't reliably avoid pet waste, so you'll want to supervise cleanings if you have accident-prone pets, since it could run through a mess and spread it across your floors. Since it doesn't have a mopping function, you'll need to clean muddy paw prints and similar messes yourself. On the bright side, it runs quietly enough that nervous pets shouldn't be bothered when it's cleaning.

The eufy Auto-Empty C10 does a great job of picking up debris on hard floors. You can rely on it to clear most everyday messes like crumbs, dust, and scattered food in your kitchen, bathroom, and other bare-floor areas. That said, you'll notice a small amount of debris left along walls and in corners, and it'll occasionally scatter or drag a bit of material around as it moves. You'll also need to manually clean any debris stuck in floor cracks and deep tile grout, since the vacuum struggles to lift finer particles out of those gaps.
Clears most everyday messes from hard floors.
Handles a wide variety of debris types without issue.
Struggles to lift finer debris from cracks.
The eufy Auto-Empty C10 offers decent debris pickup on carpets. It handles larger debris reasonably well on both low- and high-pile surfaces. That said, it struggles with finer particles, especially on high-pile carpet, where some material gets dragged around or embedded deeper into the fibers. Baseboard and corner coverage is weak despite the unit's extending side brush, so you'll notice debris left behind along walls and in tight corners that you'll need to clean manually.
Handles larger debris on both low- and high-pile carpet well.
Struggles to lift finer particles, especially on high-pile carpet.
Leaves debris behind along walls and in corners.
The eufy Auto-Empty C10 offers disappointing pet hair pickup on carpets. It leaves a noticeable amount of hair behind in its path and drags some of it around rather than sucking it up. If you have shedding pets and carpeted floors, you'll need to follow up with another vacuum or run multiple passes over the same areas to actually get most of the hair out.
Leaves a significant amount of pet hair behind on carpet.
Drags some hair around the floor rather than collecting it.
The eufy Auto-Empty C10's obstacle handling performance is poor. It exclusively uses a front-facing LIDAR sensor and lacks RGB or infrared cameras to spot and recognize objects, so it will bump into furniture repeatedly. Rug tassels get caught in the brush roller, so you'll need to free it manually. Most importantly, it doesn't reliably avoid pet waste, so you'll want to supervise cleaning sessions if you have accident-prone pets. That said, its slim profile is a real strength: it fits under low furniture like couches and console tables, cleaning the whole area underneath, and it navigates around chair legs easily.
Bumps into furniture and obstacles repeatedly.
Doesn't reliably avoid pet waste.
Gets caught on rug tassels, requiring you to free it manually.

Popular Robot Vacuum Comparisons
The eufy Auto-Empty C10 sits in the entry-level segment of robot vacuums with self-emptying docks. It lacks any mopping functionality, so it can't handle spills or sticky messes. It performs well on hard floors, but there are options at a similar price point that offer better overall performance and would be the more versatile pick for most people. Within eufy's own lineup, the eufy E20 similarly has a self-emptying dock and no mopping functionality, but it performs better across the board. The eufy Omni C20 adds mopping and offers better pet hair pickup. The MOVA P10 Pro Ultra offers top-tier obstacle handling and adds mopping functionality.
