Differences Between Sizes And Variants
The eufy G20 is available in two variants; the basic G20 and the G20 Hybrid, which features a built-in water tank and mopping attachment that allows it to clean sticky messes. We tested the basic G20, and you can see the label for our test unit here. While the vacuums share the same suction motor and are otherwise similar in design, the G20 Hybrid's mopping function makes it a better option for dealing with stains.

Test Results
This vacuum feels decently well-built. It's very similar in design to the older eufy RoboVac G30, with a body made almost entirely from plastic and a glass top cover, which gives the vacuum a slightly more premium appearance. It feels sturdy for the most part, though the glass top cover is somewhat fragile. The vacuum itself also isn't particularly hard to assemble.

- Dustbin: You can remove the dustbin by pressing the release button and pulling it free. You should empty it after each cleaning session.
- Brush guard: You can easily lift the brush guard from its housing. You should remove any stuck-on debris from the brushguard once a month.
- Brushroll: You can access this part by flipping the vacuum over, removing the brush guard, and pulling the brushroll free of its housing. Long hair tends to get caught in the brushroll, so you should clean it thoroughly when needed for the vacuum to remain at peak performance.
- Filter: The filter is in the dustbin lid, and you can simply lift it out of its housing. You should clean it once or twice a week with the included cleaning tool, depending on whether or not you have a pet. You can also wash it under cold water to remove any stubborn debris, though the filter should be left to dry for at least 24 hours before refitting it.

The eufy G20's range is limited only by the room left in its dirt compartment and remaining battery life. That said, it can't climb or descend stairs.
The eufy G20 is very portable. It weighs roughly the same as the fairly lightweight eufy RoboVac G30, making it easy to carry to another room.
The eufy G20 delivers excellent battery performance. In its most powerful 'Max' suction mode, it can run for almost 50 minutes, which is slightly less than the minimum 70-minute runtime of the older eufy RoboVac G30. If you run it in its most energy-efficient 'Quiet' suction power mode, you can expect over two hours of cleaning time, which is longer than the older model.
The indicator light allows you to monitor the current battery status, but only at certain states. When the light turns from solid blue to solid orange, the battery is low in charge. Make sure that the side brush is out of the way when the vacuum is on its dock, as the brush can cover the charging pin and cause the vacuum to report incorrect battery status info to the companion app.
