Breville the Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro BOV900BSS
Typhur Sync Oven
The Typhur Sync Oven and the Breville the Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro BOV900BSS are both high-end toaster ovens. Although the Typhur is cheaper and comes out ahead overall, both toaster ovens have advantages, and you may prefer either based on your priorities. The Typhur preheats faster and maintains a more stable temperature throughout cooking. It also toasts faster and more evenly at max capacity. The Breville, on the other hand, toasts more evenly with just four slices. With a wider range of temperature settings, it's also more versatile, and it's easier to clean. Both models come with app support, and the Typhur also includes a wireless temperature probe, so it's also worth considering which special features you prefer when making your decision.

Hey there! You’re correct both units do use a coated pan.
Even with the same type of coating, cleaning can still feel different depending on things like how different foods tends to bake onto each tray. That could explain why the Typhur tray feels harder to clean in your experience. In our testing and baking the same food in both, we had a similar experience with the two units you mentioned. That said, day-to-day use and long-term ownership can definitely feel different.
Appreciate you sharing this! Feedback like yours can be really helpful for others trying to decide between them.
Both the Breville and the Typhur have porcelain coated trays. The Typhur is harder to clean than the Breville tray.
