The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone is a flagship robot vacuum and mop from Ecovacs' X series lineup. It uses a roller mop design rather than spinning pads and navigates with an embedded LIDAR sensor for mapping and an RGB camera for obstacle detection. It introduces a bagless auto-empty dock to the X series, eliminating disposable dust bags entirely. The dock also washes and dries the mop using hot water and hot air, refills the robot's water tank, and uses PowerBoost fast charging to top up the battery during mop-washing cycles. Agent Hosting plans and adapts a full cleaning schedule around your habits, and AI Stain Detection automatically targets and re-mops stained areas.
Our Verdict
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone is a good choice for multi-surface households. It excels on hard floors and handles carpet and pet hair adequately, making it a capable everyday cleaner across different surfaces. The dock takes care of emptying and mop washing automatically, so you can run it daily without much hands-on involvement. It also handles most obstacles reliably and does a good job tackling stains.
Keeps up with everyday pet hair shedding by lifting most pet hair from carpets.
Navigates around most furniture without intervention.
The dock automatically empties debris and washes the mop after each run.
Tackles stains effectively.
Doesn't reliably avoid pet waste so you shouldn't run it when you're not home if your pets are accident prone.
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone is a decent choice for pet owners, with some caveats. It keeps up with daily shedding reasonably well, can mop up dirty pawprints, and it runs quietly enough that it won't startle nervous pets. The dock handles most of the dirty work automatically, washing and drying the mop and emptying the dustbin so you don't have to deal with pet hair and debris after every run. Despite this, it's still a high-maintenance device, and pet hair buildup makes an already time-consuming maintenance routine even more demanding. Most importantly, it doesn't reliably avoid pet waste, so accidents need to be cleaned up before each run.
Keeps up with everyday pet hair shedding by lifting most pet hair from carpets.
Avoids most obstacles like pet toys.
The dock automatically empties debris and washes the mop after each run.
Runs quietly enough not to disturb pets.
Tackles stains effectively.
Doesn't reliably avoid pet waste so you shouldn't run it when you're not home if your pets are accident prone.
The large number of parts requiring regular cleaning makes upkeep especially tedious for pet owners.
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone does a great job cleaning hard floors. It'll keep your hard floors clear of everyday debris with minimal effort, making it a reliable option for reducing how often you need to manually vacuum. Just note that it requires settings adjustments out of the box to clean corners consistently.
Clears most debris from open areas with little left behind.
The default settings don't offer the best performance and need to be tweaked.
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone is a decent choice for cleaning carpets. It'll keep your carpets looking clean day-to-day, but you'll still notice debris along walls and in corners, so you may need to do touch-ups with a traditional vacuum. It doesn't have a self-lifting chassis, so it won't be able to transition from hard floors to thicker rugs. Ecovacs also recommends against using it on fibers longer than 7 mm, so if you have very shaggy rugs, you'd be better off with another model.
Clears most debris from open areas with little left behind.
Keeps both low and high-pile carpet looking clean between manual vacuuming sessions.
Not suitable for very shaggy rugs.
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone does a decent job of picking up pet hair. It'll reduce how often you need to manually vacuum, but pet owners with heavy shedders will still notice some hair left behind after a run. It works best as a way to stay on top of daily shedding rather than as a replacement for a full clean.
Keeps up with everyday pet hair shedding by lifting most pet hair from carpets.
Leaves noticeable patches of hair behind, so manual vacuuming is still needed for a thorough clean.
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone is good at handling everyday obstacles. It navigates most home environments reliably, getting under low furniture and steering clear of most objects in its path without needing you to step in. One thing to note is that it doesn't reliably avoid pet waste, so you'll need to exercise caution if your pets are prone to accidents.
Navigates around most furniture without intervention.
Generally avoids objects that have been left on the ground.
Doesn't reliably avoid pet waste so you shouldn't run it when you're not home if your pets are accident prone.
Struggles when cleaning around chairs.

Popular Robot Vacuum Comparisons
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone is the brand's latest flagship X-series model. It introduces a bagless auto-empty dock and updated smart features over the Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI and Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI. For most people, the X11 is the easiest recommendation of the three, because it offers the best pet hair pickup and overall cleaning performance, likely because of its more powerful motor. If your home is more cluttered, however, the X9's superior obstacle handling may make it the better fit. If mopping is your top concern, consider the X8, which offers significantly better stain removal than its successors.
Compared to the broader market, the X11 competes with models like the MOVA P50 Pro Ultra and Roborock Saros 10R. Both of which deliver significantly better hard floor pickup. All three models perform similarly on carpets, but the MOVA also outperforms the X11 on pet hair, making it the stronger all-around choice for most households.

The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone and Roborock Saros 10R are both high-end robot vacuums, but they excel in different areas. The Saros 10R is significantly better at cleaning hard floors and handles obstacles more reliably, and it also has a slight edge on stain removal. It also has a self-lifting chassis that allows it to traverse thresholds more adeptly. However, the X11 is the stronger choice if you have shedding pets, as it outperforms the Saros by a wide margin when lifting pet hair from carpets.
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone and Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI are both high-end X-series robot vacuums, but they have different strengths. The X11 cleans hard floors and high-pile carpet more effectively and does a better job picking up pet hair. The X9 is the stronger choice if your home has lots of obstacles or cluttered furniture, and it's also significantly better at stain removal.
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone and MOVA P50 Pro Ultra are both high-end robot vacuums that perform similarly across most surfaces, but the MOVA pulls ahead on hard floor pickup. Carpet and pet hair performance is comparable between the two, though the MOVA has a slight edge on pet hair. Where the X11 has a clear advantage is in stain removal, outperforming the MOVA significantly.
The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone and Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI deliver similar hard floor and high-pile carpet performance, but differ in a few key areas. The X11 is better at picking up pet hair and handles obstacles more reliably. The X8 has an advantage on both low-pile carpet and stain removal, where it's one of the strongest performers we've tested.
Test Results

The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone feels well-built. It's built primarily from premium plastic with rubber wheels, and the construction feels very solid throughout. The sensor covers are made from a high-quality, transparent material, and the low-gloss finish gives them a refined look. The bumper features a transparent cover that protects the LiDAR sensor, which is an improvement over the Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI and Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI.
One minor weak point to be aware of is that the omnidirectional caster wheel feels somewhat loosely attached compared to the rest of the parts.

The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 requires a lot of ongoing maintenance. The robot vacuum itself has lots of parts to manage, including a brushroll that can get badly tangled with hair, filters that need 24 hours to dry after washing, and a side brush that requires a screwdriver to remove. The bagless dock adds even more to the routine, with its own dustbin, water tanks, and internal screens all needing regular cleaning. None of it is particularly difficult, but the sheer number of steps adds up. Not to mention, the parts snap together very tightly, which keeps everything secure during use but can make disassembly a bit tricky.
You can find more details in the user manual.

This robot vacuum has high recurring costs. While the bagless design means you won't buy replacement bags, it introduces a dedicated dust container filter that doesn't exist on the bagged X11 Pro Omni variant, so the savings aren't as clear-cut as you might expect.
You have to replace the following parts regularly:
Ecovacs also offers several accessory bundles if you'd prefer to buy in bulk.

This robot vacuum has a very small onboard dirt compartment and dirty water tank, so it may need to return to the dock to self-empty frequently.

The dock does a very good job of handling day-to-day maintenence. It automatically empties the dustbin into its bagless dirt compartment, washes the mop with hot water, dries it with hot air, and refills the robot's water tank between runs. The dirt compartment is rated at 1.2L, though in practice it can hold up to 1.65L before suction is affected, so you can go even longer before having to empty it than the spec suggests.

The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 has excellent battery life, though it varies widely depending on the setting you use. On Max suction, the battery drains much faster than on Quiet mode, though it performs markedly better than the Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI. It always returns to the dock automatically when it has 15% battery left. It charges quickly, significantly outperforming the Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI. A new feature on the X11 is PowerBoost charging, which kicks in during mop-washing cycles to top up the battery faster.

The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 offers the typical quality-of-life features you'd expect on a high-end robot vacuum, with a few standouts worth noting. Agent Hosting replaces the AI Intelligent Hosting found on the Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI and Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI. This new feature automatically plans a full cleaning schedule and regimen for you, including Intelligent Deep Mopping that re-mops areas as needed. Strategic Particulate Removal detects large debris accumulations and pauses the brush roll to prevent it from scattering debris around, while AI Stain Detection automatically identifies stains and re-mops until they're clean. One limitation to be aware of is that while there's a Vac Only mode, there's no Mop Only mode, so the robot always vacuums in combination with mopping rather than mopping independently.

This robot vacuum does a great job of cleaning hard floors when using Standard suction and Deep pathing, picking up most debris, and leaving only small amounts along edges and a bit more in corners.
The caveat is that to get these results, you have to disable the default AIVI obstacle avoidance mode. When AIVI is enabled, the robot consistently misses corners and even avoids some debris entirely. This is likely due to an issue with Ecovacs' obstacle avoidance system, which is also present on the Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI and Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI. Luckily, if you turn off AIVI or turn on AI Agent, you won't encounter this issue.
The X11 also fixes an issue both the X9 and X8 faced: selecting Vac Only mode didn't actually disable the mop.

This robot vacuum does a decent job of cleaning high-pile carpets when using Standard suction, Deep pathing, and Carpet Boost. It significantly outperforms the Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI, with notably better side brush performance along edges. Unlike older models in the Ecovacs X-series, it doesn't mistake dark-colored carpets for cliffs, so you won't have to modify or block its cliff sensors.
One thing to keep in mind is that Ecovacs advises against using the Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone on carpets with fibers longer than 7 mm, so very shaggy rugs may cause issues.

The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 does a decent job of cleaning low-pile carpets when using Standard suction with Standard pathing and Carpet Boost enabled, but it can't match the performance of the Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI. It handles larger debris well but leaves more fine particles behind, and you'll notice debris left behind along edges. Switching pathing modes doesn't make a meaningful difference to the end result.

The Ecovacs X11 OmniCyclone does a reasonable job picking up pet hair when using the default Standard suction, Deep pathing, and Carpet Boost. It significantly outperforms both the Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI and Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI, but both of those models use Standard pathing by default, which likely impacts performance.
We weren't able to measure airflow for this robot vacuum because the motor only activates once the vacuum establishes its position through movement, and our standard testing setup requires the device to remain stationary.

The Ecovacs DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone does a good job navigating around furniture. It cleans under low furniture and moves around obstacles like mirrors, even handling tasselled rugs well. It can get stuck under chairs and occasionally pauses mid-clean to reorient itself, but neither issue comes up often enough to significantly disrupt a cleaning session.
Though this model adapts to your home well, both the Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI and Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI perform better
for videos & test results
The Ecovacs X11 OmniCyclone has decent obstacle avoidance, performing better than the Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI but falling short of the Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI. It uses an RGB camera for obstacle detection, a bumper-mounted LIDAR sensor for navigation and mapping, and bump sensors for everything else.
Performance is more reliable on hard floors than on carpet, where it requires intervention more often. It doesn't always avoid pet waste, so you'll need to take extra caution if you have pets who have accidents.
for videos & test results
This robot vacuum struggles to navigate under low furniture, performing significantly worse than both the Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI and Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI. The X11 is marginally taller than its predecessors, likely due to the new LIDAR cover, and its tire treads cause it to bounce and lightly graze clearances it would otherwise fit through.

This robot vacuum's threshold clearance is disappointing, and is a major step down from that of the Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI. It doesn't have a self-lifting chassis, and it fails to clear even low thresholds. When it encounters one, it backs up forcefully enough that it could knock over light furniture in the process.
We couldn't measure air quality for this model because the motor only activates once the robot has mapped its position. That said, it uses an "anti-bacterial" filter rather than a HEPA filter, so it likely won't capture fine particles or allergens effectively.

This robot vacuum does a good job cleaning stains, though its default performance falls short of both the Ecovacs DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI and Ecovacs DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI in the same configuration. When using Deep pathing, it removes most of a stain but doesn't fully eliminate it. Turning on AI Stain Detection improves results, but it still can't compete with the X8's outstanding performance.
The X11 offers a feature called Double-Effect Clean Solutions, which uses two separate cleaning solution tanks. The dock automatically dispenses a regular or heavy-duty solution depending on the area being cleaned. You can buy the regular solution, heavy-duty solution, or a bundle separately.

The Ecovacs Home app is excellent and covers everything you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum. There are also some standout features worth highlighting; Agent Hosting lets you set cleaning preferences and schedules through a conversation with the robot, which then plans and adapts its routine around your habits. TruEdge improves edge coverage, AI Stain Detection automatically targets and re-mops stained areas, and Strategic Particulate Removal lifts the side brush when a large amount of debris is detected. The app also supports the Matter ecosystem for smart home integration.
