The BELLA Rocket Blender is a single-speed personal blender. It comes with two 14-oz personal jars as well as a smaller 6-oz jar that uses a flat blade assembly for grinding ingredients. However, while it does an alright job of making smoothies, the resulting mix is foamy and grainy. Harder foods like nuts and ice also pose a significant challenge to its motor, which needs time to rest after one minute of continuous use, so it's not recommended for making nut butter or crushed ice. All in all, it has a mediocre build quality, and it can't hot blend. On the upside, its jar, blade assemblies, and lids are all dishwasher-safe.
The BELLA Rocket Blender is poor for multi-purpose use. As it's designed for personal use, it's best-suited for making smoothies. However, its blends have a foamy and grainy texture. Unfortunately, as the manufacturer recommends using it continuously for only a minute at a time, it can't make harder-to-blend food like nut butter. It also can't make crushed ice or hot blend.
The BELLA Rocket Blender is disappointing for smoothies and protein shakes. It takes around two minutes to make a foamy and grainy smoothie. However, it struggles to process more fibrous fruits and veggies like kale. On the upside, it's simple to clean after making a smoothie.
The BELLA Rocket Blender isn't recommended for crushing ice.
The BELLA Rocket Blender can't hot blend and isn't recommended for making soups.
The BELLA Rocket Blender is bad for professional use. It uses a personal jar, which isn't designed to hold a large quantity of food. It can't crush ice or make almond butter as the manufacturer recommends using it continuously for only a minute at a time. It also makes an okay smoothie, but with a grainy and foamy texture.
The BELLA Rocket Blender is a fairly small personal blender that you can easily store away in a cupboard or sit out on your kitchen counter. You can also detach the jar to make it easier to store.
The BELLA Rocket Blender has a mediocre build quality. It has a plastic base wrapped in aluminum, and there are three rubber feet to help it stay in place while you blend. However, the transmission, jars, and lids are also made of plastic, which isn't the most sturdy. You can also see the motor fan through a vent-like opening beneath the blender. If you want a personal blender with a more durable build, check out the Oster MyBlend.
The main jar has a 14-ounce capacity, which is meant for personal-sized servings. Although the jar can technically hold a few ounces more when filled to the rim, its max indicator line is at 13.5-ounces. You can put the jar in the top rack of your dishwasher for an easy clean.
The BELLA Rocket Blender comes with an additional jar called the 'Small Grinding Cup', and is meant to be used with the flat blade assembly. Although we don't test for it, it's designed to chop food or grind coffee beans. Although it can hold up to 11-ounces right up to the rim, its max indicator line is at six-ounces. This jar is also top-rack dishwasher-safe.
The BELLA Rocket Blender comes with two sets of blades. The blending blade has four sharp, angled blades while the grinding blade has two low-profile blades. The grinding blade can only be used with the small grinding jar, though. You can easily clean these blades by placing them in your dishwasher's top rack.
The lid is attached to the blade, so you won't be able to add anything to your mix while blending. It screws onto the jar and can be attached to the blender base. You can put this piece in the dishwasher and use a to-go lid if you want to take your blend with you.
The BELLA Rocket Blender doesn't have a stowaway compartment. While it's cord length isn't very long, it should be enough for you to reach a power outlet near your counter.
The BELLA Rocket Blender has a single speed which is quite fast. You can pulse blend by pressing down on the jar since the motor stops when there's no pressure placed on the jar. You can also lock the jar in place for continuous blending, but the manufacturer doesn't recommend running it for over a minute at a time. If you continuously blend like this, you need to let the blender rest for three minutes before using it again.
This blender isn't suitable for making almond butter. Since the manufacturer warns against continuous use for longer than a minute at a time, you may end up overheating the motor when blending harder foods.
The BELLA Rocket Blender makes an alright smoothie using its main jar. To move ingredients towards the blades, you may need to pulse it a few times. Once mixed a bit more, you can continuously blend for up to a minute at a time. The resulting smoothie has a dark green color but it has a foamy, grainy texture as the kale is unevenly processed.
The smaller additional jar has a capacity of six ounces and isn't intended for blending smoothies.
This blender isn't designed for blending ice.
This blender doesn't have any programs or modes.
The BELLA Rocket Blender is alright to clean. Its jars, lids, and blade assemblies are all dishwasher-safe. You can also use water and soap to rinse out the jar and blade assembly when making smoothies. However, sticky blends are more difficult to clean as the jar is quite narrow, especially for larger hands. It can also be hard to get underneath the blades for a thorough clean as debris can stick around the bottom of the blade assembly. If you're looking for a personal blender that's easier to clean, check out the Hamilton Beach Single-Serve Blender.
This blender doesn't have any extra features and can't be used to hot blend. However, it comes with two 14-oz jars as well as a 6-oz small grinding cup.
The BELLA Rocket Blender comes in several color variants: black stainless steel, stainless steel, and stainless steel and black (which has a stainless steel wrapping but its plastic components are black). We tested the stainless steel variant and you can see its label here. However, we expect these models to perform similarly to our test unit. If you come across a BELLA Rocket Blender that's different from ours, let us know in the discussions and we'll update the review.
The BELLA Rocket Blender is a personal blender. It comes with two personal jars as well as a smaller grinding jar that uses a flat blade assembly. However, it struggles to break down fibrous food like kale, resulting in a foamy and grainy smoothie. It also can't be used to make almond butter or crushed ice. The Magic Bullet Mini is a better personal blender for making smoothies than the BELLA Rocket Blender. Although both blenders have plasticky build quality, the Magic Bullet produces a less grainy smoothie. It's also easier to clean, and it can even make almond butter, although it takes a long time, and there are still some unprocessed almonds left behind. However, the BELLA comes with two personal jars, which some users may prefer.

It can also make almond butter and crushed ice, and its smoothies have a better texture. However, the BELLA comes with a flat blade and a small grinding cup for making sauces or salsa.
The NutriBullet Pro is a significantly better personal blender for making smoothies than the BELLA Rocket Blender. The NutriBullet can make an outstandingly silky smoothie in under two minutes. It also has a better build quality, it can make decent almond butter, and it's easier to clean, too. However, the BELLA comes with two personal jars and a flat blade assembly for its small grinding cup.
The NutriBullet PRO 1000 is a significantly better blender for making smoothies than the BELLA Rocket Blender. Although the NutriBullet takes a little longer to make a smoothie, its texture is less grainy. It can also make bar-quality ice. It has a better build quality, and it's easier to clean. However, the BELLA comes with two personal jars and a flat blade assembly for its small grinding cup.
The BELLA Rocket Blender is a slightly better personal blender for multi-purpose use than the Hamilton Beach Single-Serve Blender.
