The BELLA Rocket Blender is poor for multi-purpose use. As it's designed for personal use, it's best-suited for making smoothies. However, its blends have a foamy and grainy texture. The NutriBullet PRO 1000 is a significantly better blender for making smoothies than the BELLA Rocket Blender. Although the NutriBullet takes a little longer to make a smoothie, its texture is less grainy. It can also make bar-quality ice. It has a better build quality, and it's easier to clean. However, the BELLA comes with two personal jars and a flat blade assembly for its small grinding cup.
The Oster MyBlend is a better personal blender than the BELLA Rocket Blender. The Oster has a better build quality and does a better job of blending common smoothie ingredients like kale or blueberries. It can handle tough tasks like making nut butter, although it's not ideal for that. On the other hand, the BELLA has some unusual accessories for a personal blender, including an extra blade assembly for grinding things like spices or coffee.
The BELLA Rocket Blender is a somewhat better blender than the NutriBullet GO. Neither blender can crush ice or make almond butter, and both have a small capacity, but the BELLA produces a much better smoothie. It also comes with two additional jars. However, the NutriBullet is a very lightweight, battery-powered blender, so you may prefer it if you're looking for something portable. It also has a better build quality.
Test Results
The BELLA Rocket Blender is a fairly small personal blender that you can easily store away in a cupboard or sit out on your kitchen counter. You can also detach the jar to make it easier to store.
The BELLA Rocket Blender has a mediocre build quality. It has a plastic base wrapped in aluminum, and there are three rubber feet to help it stay in place while you blend. However, the transmission, jars, and lids are also made of plastic, which isn't the most sturdy. You can also see the motor fan through a vent-like opening beneath the blender. The main jar has a 14-ounce capacity, which is meant for personal-sized servings. Although the jar can technically hold a few ounces more when filled to the rim, its max indicator line is at 13.5-ounces. You can put the jar in the top rack of your dishwasher for an easy clean.
The BELLA Rocket Blender comes with an additional jar called the 'Small Grinding Cup', and is meant to be used with the flat blade assembly. Although we don't test for it, it's designed to chop food or grind coffee beans. Although it can hold up to 11-ounces right up to the rim, its max indicator line is at six-ounces. This jar is also top-rack dishwasher-safe.
The BELLA Rocket Blender comes with two sets of blades. The blending blade has four sharp, angled blades while the grinding blade has two low-profile blades. The grinding blade can only be used with the small grinding jar, though. You can easily clean these blades by placing them in your dishwasher's top rack.
The lid is attached to the blade, so you won't be able to add anything to your mix while blending. It screws onto the jar and can be attached to the blender base. You can put this piece in the dishwasher and use a to-go lid if you want to take your blend with you.
The BELLA Rocket Blender doesn't have a stowaway compartment. While it's cord length isn't very long, it should be enough for you to reach a power outlet near your counter.

The BELLA Rocket Blender has a single speed which is quite fast. You can pulse blend by pressing down on the jar since the motor stops when there's no pressure placed on the jar. You can also lock the jar in place for continuous blending, but the manufacturer doesn't recommend running it for over a minute at a time. If you continuously blend like this, you need to let the blender rest for three minutes before using it again.
This blender isn't suitable for making almond butter. Since the manufacturer warns against continuous use for longer than a minute at a time, you may end up overheating the motor when blending harder foods.
The BELLA Rocket Blender makes an alright smoothie using its main jar. To move ingredients towards the blades, you may need to pulse it a few times. Once mixed a bit more, you can continuously blend for up to a minute at a time. The resulting smoothie has a dark green color but it has a foamy, grainy texture as the kale is unevenly processed. The Magic Bullet Essential is a small personal blender that can make better smoothies, but it doesn't come with any extras like lids or grinding blades.
The smaller additional jar has a capacity of six ounces and isn't intended for blending smoothies.

This blender doesn't have any programs or modes.
The BELLA Rocket Blender is alright to clean. Its jars, lids, and blade assemblies are all dishwasher-safe. You can also use water and soap to rinse out the jar and blade assembly when making smoothies. However, sticky blends are more difficult to clean as the jar is quite narrow, especially for larger hands. It can also be hard to get underneath the blades for a thorough clean as debris can stick around the bottom of the blade assembly.
