Marshall Kilburn III
The Ultimate Ears EPICBOOM and the Marshall Kilburn III have different strengths, despite being a similar size. The Ultimate Ears will be preferable if you're looking for a more rugged speaker (thanks to its IP67 rating), and it has a better app that lets you connect other Ultimate Ears speakers (depending on the generation). It also has better directivity, though the Marshall is no slouch in this department either. Still, the Marshall is an enticing prospect if you're looking for a more portable speaker, with a longer battery life and Bluetooth multi-device connectivity. It also has a slightly bassier sound that'll bring out the kicks and basslines in genres like EDM and hip-hop
