The Breville the Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro BOV900BSS and the Breville the Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro (Toaster Oven) are both good toaster ovens, and you may prefer either depending on what you typically like to cook. Both options toast slowly, but evenly with four slices; however, the Smart Oven struggles to toast evenly at maximum capacity. The Smart Oven also preheats a little more slowly, and its temperature is only decently stable throughout the cooking process, so it doesn't perform quite as well for baking or reheating leftovers, since it can start to dry out your food before it cooks through. That said, it comes out ahead for air frying, leaving more of each batch crispy and producing results faster. When you're finished cooking, both of these large toaster ovens are very easy to clean.
