The Anker Soundcore 3 is a better speaker than the Turtlebox Ranger in most cases. The Anker delivers a more accurate frequency response, and it lends the option of altering the sound profile in the companion app. It exhibits better dynamics with a stereo configuration. Plus, the battery life is better. That said, the Turtlebox is a bit smaller and lighter, while still capable of reaching about the same output volume. Of the two speakers, it's the only one with dustproofing, too. So, if you need a lighter speaker that can handle dust, the Turtlebox is better in that regard.
