The Sonos has a more even, balanced sound, and your audio sounds more consistent even when you're listening off to the sides of the speaker. The Sonos also includes built-in Alexa. On the other hand, the LG gives you finer control over its tuning with a graphic EQ and adds Google Cast support. Each can serve as a satellite in its own home theater ecosystem, so your existing equipment may determine which is best for you: if you have a compatible LG TV or H7 soundbar, then the LG is a handy way of extending your system.
