The Sonos Ultimate Immersive Set with Arc Ultra and the Bose Home Theater Set are both maximalist configurations of their brand's respective modular lineups. Both setups have similar shortcomings, lacking support for DTS formats and HDMI In ports for passthrough capabilities, limiting their use cases for gaming and with certain streaming platforms. Both systems have a robust build quality though, and their satellite speakers can be used independent of the soundbar as home speakers, which is a nice touch. The Sonos' stereo soundstage is quite a bit wider though, with better tracking, and it's able to create better immersion with Atmos content. However, the Bose has better sound customization possibilities, via a 3-band EQ. Ultimately, choosing between the two will also come down to which brand's ecosystem you want to invest in.
