The Levoit Core 200S is a budget-friendly air purifier with a compact design. It sits below the newer Levoit Core 300S in the company's lineup, with an even more compact body and less powerful motor. It also lacks an air quality sensor, though it does support voice commands made through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and you can control it remotely using the VeSync smartphone app.

Popular Air Purifier Comparisons
This is a basic, budget-friendly air purifier with a compact design. The Core 200S is smaller than the mid-range Levoit Core 300S and lacks that model's built-in air quality sensor that would allow for automatic fan speed adjustment. However, it does offer good overall filtration performance, particularly for such a compact device, and is well suited to use in smaller residences where saving space is important.
The Levoit Core 300 and Levoit Core 200S each have their own advantages. The Core 300 is the bigger, more powerful machine that's a little more efficient in larger spaces. Meanwhile, only the Core 200S has Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to make remote settings adjustments or set operating schedules.

Tapping the 'Display Off' button turns off all of the device's indicator lights and the night light. On that subject, the night light features two levels of brightness.
The VeSync companion app also allows you to remotely adjust the fan speed, set operating schedules, and send filter replacement reminders.
This air purifier has a three-stage filter system comprised of an ultra-fine nylon pre-filter, its main filter layer, and a High-Efficiency Activated Carbon filter. You'll only need to clean the pre-filter with a soft dusting brush every two to four weeks.
You'll need to replace this filter assembly every six to eight months, and you can find a replacement here.
