Sony WF-1000XM6
Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 5
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 and the Sony WF-1000XM6 offer a similarly premium performance, though there are slight differences between them that can dictate a buying decision. If you value build quality and durability, the Sennheisers are a better bet. They're more sturdily built and feature user-replaceable batteries. They also boast a fit that'll be more comfortable and stable for most people, making them a solid choice for workouts. There are subtle differences in the tuning too, as the Sony boost the bass range slightly more, with a more prominent treble response, for a more excited sound overall. The Sony's longer battery life and superior ANC make them a better fit for commuting, plus they support the LDAC codec for high-resolution streaming.

Is your issue with this specific comparison, or do you think we should re-evaluate the scoring criteria in general?
I really don’t agree with the MTW5 score on the bluetooth connection section. The fact that it has a lower latency mode should make the score much higher. I find that it is much easier to get hold of compatible APTX Adaptive dongles, than it is for the XM6’s flavor of LC3 (I have a creative bt-w6 and somehow it’s not compatible with it).
