Bose Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar vs Home Theater Set

The Bose Home Theater Set is the expanded version of the Bose Lifestyle Ultra Soundbar, adding two satellite speakers and a discrete subwoofer. The additional components do improve performance all around: the subwoofer helps the bass range extend lower, while the satellites improve immersion with surround sound content while adding two up-firing drivers for Atmos playback. We found that the introduction of extra components did slightly negatively impact latency over an HDMI eARC connection though. If the additional outlay required for the whole set is too large, you can also purchase the extra components one-by-one, while improving performance incrementally.
