JBL Bar 1300XMK2
LG Immersive Quad Suite 7 Pro
The JBL Bar 1300XMK2 and LG Immersive Quad Suite 7 Pro are flexible setups for different reasons. The JBL allows you to detach two battery-powered satellites from the main bar, which you can place behind you to reduce the number of cables in your listening space. Meanwhile, the LG allows you to flexibly place its four satellites and uses Dolby Atmos FlexConnect to adjust the system's output to suit both your space and speaker placement. The feature isn't perfect, but it reduces audible imbalances you'd otherwise notice with asymmetric placement. In its optimal configuration (in our space), the LG has a much wider soundstage thanks to its front satellites, but it doesn't get as loud as the JBL.
