Sony RX10 IV
Sony RX10 V
The Sony RX10 V is a big upgrade over the Sony RX10 IV, especially for video. The RX10 IV records 8-bit 4:2:0 footage, crops 4k at every frame rate, tops out at 30 fps in 4k, and stops recording after 29 minutes. The RX10 V, on the other hand, records 10-bit 4:2:2 video, reaches 120 fps in 4k, and has no recording limit. It also lasts much longer on a charge, has a sharper EVF and screen, and offers a much easier menu with full touch support. Its images are sharper, too, with wider dynamic range. It does lose the pop-up flash, but you still have the option to add one via the hot-shoe if you need to.
