SteelSeries Arctis Nova Elite
Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC
The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Elite and Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC are both ANC-enabled gaming headsets. Each has unique characteristics that set it apart from the other, though. For one, the SteelSeries uses dynamic drivers while the Audeze uses planar magnetic ones. By default, the SteelSeries has a warm profile while the Audeze has a more V-shaped tuning. That said, you can customize either headset's signature with its respective app, though you have more granular control with the SteelSeries' parametric EQ. If you juggle multiple devices or consoles, the SteelSeries has more flexible connectivity thanks to its dock, which supports two USB devices, a line-in port, and a Bluetooth source simultaneously. On the other hand, the Audeze's mic sounds just a tad more natural, and it supports the commonly supported LDAC codec for Hi-Res Bluetooth listening.
