adidas Adizero Evo SL
Nike Vomero Plus
The adidas Adizero Evo SL and Nike Vomero Plus both use premium foams, with Lightstrike Pro in the adidas and ZoomX in the Nike, so they both feel energetic and cushioned underfoot. That said, these shoes are built with very different intentions. The adidas is a versatile trainer that excels for uptempo work, with a lighter build and a partial plastic shank that adds structure and snap. It feels more energetic and quicker through toe-off, making it better suited to intervals, tempo sessions, and runs where efficiency matters. The Nike shoe, on the other hand, prioritizes max cushioning and protection. It sits higher off the ground and feels more focused on comfort and impact absorption. While it still delivers a pleasant bounce from its ZoomX midsole, the overall experience is more about spicing up daily miles than chasing top-end speed.
