HOKA Bondi 9
New Balance 1080v15
The New Balance 1080v15 is a better choice than the HOKA Bondi 9 for most runners. Much lighter and a bit bouncier, the New Balance feels more lively, while its rockered heel and steadier platform keep transitions smooth. If maximum protection is your priority, though, the HOKA's deeper cushioning holds up better over long distances, making it a great fit for slower long runs. Note that the New Balance is narrow through the arch, but both shoes are available in wide versions.
