Nike Alphafly 3
ASICS METASPEED SKY TOKYO
The ASICS METASPEED SKY TOKYO is the better marathon racer overall than the Nike Alphafly 3. It's lighter, significantly more energetic, and more cushioned. The Nike shoe is much more stable, fits more predictably, and gives you more assistance through push-off, making it the better first race shoe if you're newer to carbon-plated racers. Get the ASICS if you want maximum speed and raw performance; get the Nike if you want more security and a more forgiving race-day setup.
