LG Sound Suite H7

Sony BRAVIA Theater Trio

If you're looking for a solid starting point for a modular soundbar system, the LG Sound Suite H7 is better than the Sony BRAVIA Theater Trio. It has more sound customization options, including channel-dependent level adjustment and the option to EQ its output. The LG also has a more balanced sound, deeper bass, and side-firing drivers than the Sony. However, the Sony has an HDMI In and supports DTS formats while the LG doesn't. Regardless, the LG is much less expensive and supports up to four additional satellites while the Sony is capped at two.
