Sonos Arc Ultra vs Beam Ultra

The Sonos Arc Ultra is a better soundbar overall than the Sonos Beam Ultra. While they both have a 5.1.2 configuration, the Arc Ultra performs better across all our sound tests, with a more balanced default sound, better bass extension, a more consistent stereo soundstage, and a better performance with 5.1 surround content. The Arc Ultra also comes with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa support, which the Beam Ultra lacks at launch, with Sonos Sound Control as the only built-in voice assistant. That said, the Beam Ultra will be a good fit for those with smaller living spaces, given its smaller footprint, and its lower retail price makes it a good entry point into the Sonos ecosystem.
