AWOL Vision Aetherion Pro vs XGIMI MIRA

The AWOL Vision Aetherion Pro is better than the XGIMI MIRA, but the gap isn't as big as the price difference suggests. The AWOL displays much deeper blacks in dark scenes, but blacks have similar depth between the two in brighter scenes. The AWOL is also brighter, so it looks punchier in a dark room, but it's still not bright enough to withstand glare in well-lit spaces. There's a less noticeable rainbow effect on the AWOL, which is great for people who are sensitive to it. The AWOL can also remove judder from more sources, and it can do so without dropping the resolution to 1080p (except with 60p signals), so it provides smoother motion with more types of content. However, the XGIMI MIRA has much more accurate colors out of the box.
