The ASICS SUPERBLAST 3 is a meaningful upgrade over the ASICS SUPERBLAST 2 for most runners. It's lighter, bouncier, and more cushioned, making it better suited to long runs while retaining the same broad training versatility. The SUPERBLAST 2 is firmer and slightly more stable, so runners who prefer a more controlled ride may still prefer the older shoe.
