HOKA Bondi 9
Nike Vomero 18
The HOKA Bondi 9 and Nike Vomero 18 are two daily trainers that may look similar on paper, but have a few noticeable differences. The HOKA is the more cushioned of the two, providing more comfort and responsiveness on long, easy runs, and is best suited to runners who require more impact protection without sacrificing too much pep. The Nike shoe, on the other hand, still offers good cushioning, has more stack under the heel, and its comparatively higher heel-to-toe-drop and stronger heel rocker geometry mean that, of the two, it's better suited to heel strikers. It also has a more roomy forefoot width, making it the better option for those who want space for toe splay.
