LG C9 OLED
Samsung Q80T
The LG C9 OLED is better overall than the Samsung Q80T. Thanks to its OLED panel, the LG produces perfect blacks, resulting in an unparalleled viewing experience for movies, especially in HDR. The viewing angles on the LG are also much better, and it has a near-instantaneous response time, resulting in clear motion. On the other hand, the Samsung has more accurate colors out of the box and can get brighter. The Samsung also uses an LCD panel that doesn't suffer the risk of permanent burn-in, like the OLED. It's worth noting, though, that this likely won't be an issue for most OLED owners who watch varied content.
